meron din ganito ang shopwise. you have to pay for this green bag for Php 99.00 and you also get 2 points dun sa maga item na ilalagay mo sa loob ng bag. so dapat yung mga mamahalin lang yung ilalagay mo para sulit. this will run for only a year.

Ilang beses na kaming nagpupunta sa SM (North EDSA & Fairview) recently, pero wala na kaming napapansin na green bag na puwedeng bilhin. Actually, wala rin kaming nakitang shoppers using that green bag. Di kaya tapos na yung promo nila or discontinued na?

Yeah..its P35 bucks na. Parts of the proceeds daw will go to SM Foundation. Its available sa mga counters/cashiers booth mismo.

dito po sa amin sa austria pag mag gogrocery eh me dala na akong plastic bag o trolley (bag na me gulong he he he)kasi hindi libre ang plastic bag dito.me bayad na .25cents per piece.so kung 2 pcs. ang kelangan ko eh .50cents na agad yun.yung plastic bag na dati ko ng nabili at ok pa eh yun na lang ang dinadala ko pag namimili.pero malimit pag madami ang bibilhin eh yung trolley ang hila hila ko.

I saw almost the same thing in Rustan's grocery.

But this time you just have to buy it for about 100 bucks and all the puchases that fit in the bag(s) you bought will, if I remember correctly, be subject to either a rebate or a certain discount from the total or something like that.

This is a good move.

When I was stationed in The Netherlands, you had to pay for your grocery plastic bags.

Normally, we'd bring a backpack or something similar to carry our purchases after payment.

You can also get a reusable bag from the store for a fee but you get store credit or some other reward starting the day you buy it and everytime you go back and use the bag for groceries.

I think they should make this compulsory! ang mga ilog at creeks na puno ng basura na sanhi ng mga baha... puro plastic! maski sa mga beach at tubig sa dagat, kalimitan ng lumulutang eh mga plastic na supot! we have to do our share individually to help the environment!
