Suzuki SX4

I am trying to haggle my SA for a discount using the car's unpopularity as a leverage. Unfortunately 30k lang ang binibigay nya discount plus free LTO, matts, seat cover and tint... So that brings the price to 869k... Oks na kaya to? I was hoping for a 50k+ discount.

When I was hunting for my first car I was given a 60k discount for a Mazda3, nagbackout lang ako dahil sa poor gas consumption according to feedbacks. Honda, not known for giving discounts gave 20k discount sa Honda Civic FD. Mukhang matigas itong nakuha ko SA dito sa Suzuki. Hehehe. Any recommendation sa SA and dealership here in Manila?

i have seen a lot of these cars in Europe. but not Suzuki, it's a rebadged Euro car, can't remember kung Citroen pero pareho-parehong nito.
I figure if the Europeans like it then it must be a good car.

That version could be better than ours. I think the orig specs for this was a 2.0 engine and 4x4 with CVT tranny. Pag dating dito sa pinas naging 1.6 engine, 4x2 and and old 4AT tranny. Cost cutting malamang.

Probably if they priced this at 830k or less dito, it may have been an attractive option.

it is the sedici, branded by fiat from suzuki to cater to some european markets i think it was released way back 2009, in some other asian markets naman the sx4 crossover goes by the name of maruti. but all of them are suzuki sx4, it only differs in engine displacement and tranny probably responding to specific market/economic needs and requirements

Kayang itaas pa ang SX4.
Good choice din yan at that budget range at sa purpose mo.

Pero in the long run, hindi kasing dali yan ng parts ng toyota

yung SX4 Crossover, mataas na as is. no need to raise the suspension kasi mas mataas na sya than your regular compacts. as for spare parts, di pa level siguro ng toyota, but i guess improving naman. it's really up to you. kung anong first choice mo tingin ko go for that one pa rin. ilan beses ka lang naman dadaan sa baha diba? unless bahain lugar nyo.

I'm about ready to decide whether to get a Sx-4 Crossover or a Jimny or a Kia Soul. I've been checking out the Suzukis sa Pasig dealer on C5. Trouble is parang wala namang sales rep nag-o-offer ng matinong discounts. I'm already dangling practically C.O.D. payment (mgr's. checks or personal checks with 3 day clearing) pero parang bale wala lang.

Meron ba kayong ma-i-suggest na mas interesadong SR or dealer? Also been to Suzuki Kalookan. SR never even bothered to call me back and follow-up... seller's market ba ngayon?

A substantial discount offered would help me swing favorably either toward Suzuki or Kia Soul (P889K + free LTO). Right now, I can't decide. Wala namang pang test-drive itong mga dealer na tinatanong ko...

magkano discount sa different models ng suzuki bigay sayo? sa wheels .rod maximum daw nila for the sx4 is 25k, jimny 15k. pero sa iba umabot pa ng 90K!!

No sales rep has offered anything more than free LTO reg... SX-4 Crossover *P899K and Jimny MT JLX *P760K. so I'm wondering where those P15-25K discounts are being offered. P90K discount?! Shoot! puntahan ko sales rep, bukas ng umaga! Tell me where! 8-)

Looks like I have to go shopping for more Suzuki dealers.... tsk tsk. Pasig would be ideal, kasi ofc ko sa Ortigas area. Pero kung di sila ganado mag-benta ng COD, eh hanap na lang akong ibang may gusto at mas ganado magbenta...

pag cash kasi, walang kita ang sales REP. yang discount na yan can be misleading or deceiving sometimes, kala mo nakadiscount ka pero babawian ka sa interest.

Try mo Suzuki Shaw Blvd, they are offering me 50k discount. As per other tsikoteer, 90k discount sa E.Rod. After telling this to Shaw, willing naman sila tapatan. Though yung agent na nameet ko is nasa Megamall that time kasi may display units sila noon. May test drive din sila. Nainis nga lang ako kasi nagpa sched ako tapos pumayag na. Then prior to that day may nauna daw sa test unit.

I specifically told him na bank PO so parang similar na din sa yo na cash.

Thanks for the info, sir. Wow those are huge price discounts! Is that only for the SX-4 or also for the Jimny? Will check out both dealers on Saturday....

Suzuki Pasig let me test-drive a AT Jimny, pero old service unit nila. So ang kupad-kupad na. Pag tapak ko ng gas parang walang hatak. Umaandar na lang at its own pace. Hmmmm.... ganito ba talaga ang AT Jimny pag na-luma na? Nakaka-discourage.

Ride was ok though, and no squeaks, creaks or suspension noises... for an old vehicle, seems like impressive maintenance of the suspension.
