Hi!

To assist and have reference sa mga existing and would be owners ng Suzuki Ertiga. Kindly post your concerns and how it was resolve. Mahirap din kasing mag back read masyado na mahaba yung original thread.

Please limit to concerns and resolutions lang para di masyado humaba.

Sa mga natatandaan ko.

May pumapasok na amoy galing sa labas, from the canal or usok ng mga sasakyan. - Resolve by adjusting the vent or eventually closing it.
Maasim na amoy - Eventually nawala din sya. Pwede rin buksan muna window bago i-open ang AC
Airbag Light indicator stays on - Under warranty. Pinalitan ng casa
Moist Headlight - sa akin sa unang ulan ko lang naranasan, eventually nawala sya. alam ko yung iba eh pinalitan ng casa.

concern: langitngit sound (parang crumpling ng cellophane) galing sa rear view mirror mount pag gumagalaw yung sasakyan.
resolution: solved by casa (suzuki east ave.), baka sinikipan lang yung mount.

Concern: A/T transmission lag. Mabilis mag shift From 2nd gear to 3rd gear.

Good day everyone : I only have 4 minor but irritating complaints -
1) Steering wheel not centered. (tabingi yung S pag derecho), mahina na nga mata ko tabingi pa yung S LOGO!
2) Wiper mounting cover is not attached properly and is loose. (dalawang brand new na nakitaan ko non)
3) I paid in cash but did not get an OFFICIAL RECEIPT stating the total amount that I paid for!!!
I just received several Collection Receipts, pareho daw yon. Bakit iba spelling?
Buti pa sa National Book Store at Mercury Drug may official receipt, eto daan libo collection receipt!
4) Forget about asking for the LTO's OR/CR...para walang stress.

The demo unit / test drive car had no flaws. Tapos yung akin pa ang meron!
Hindi pa nagagawa (1 & 2) walang tools yung casa. (akalain ko ba yon?)

Lesson - People can take advantage of your excitement. Never receive a brand new car at night even if you wasted the whole afternoon waiting for the SA. I personally feel that the SA intentionally arrived very late and put the blame on traffic so you will just sign all the papers stating that all is well. They did not let us fully inspect the car because the SA didn't arrive yet. So it was an exciting rush inspection.

As soon as this gets resolved, I will update this post. Salamat po.
Please don't get me wrong - Suzuki is a very good car brand in need of a real honest to goodness service team and not just SALES. I love our Ertiga very much but would like to share some of the quirks I have experienced to help other new buyers.
I am grateful to all the members of Club Ertiga who picked us up from our house and accompanied / assisted us while waiting.

i also lost my rear wiper mount cover after a few months. akala ko nadislodge lang ng anak ko when he helped me clean the car. so baka nga maluwang siya from the start. 50 pesos ang replacement.

Mine is the whole black cover shield that protects leaves from getting inside, i am sure this is not P50.00. haha, anyway they said they will attach it when they have more time. Thanks.

I got a manual Ertiga gl, pero yung sa tabi ng clutch nya may foot rest na para sa pang matic, nakaka ilang at minsan tumatama kapag umapak sa clutch. Ganito din po ba ang Ertiga gl nyo? Also yung gas tank cover nya laging bumubukas na kusa.

2015 Ertiga ko walang foot rest.

Di dapat bumubukas yung tank cover, ibalik mo sa casa at baka may adjustment lang na gagawin dyan.

I also had a previous experience ng parang umaalon.

Na resolve sya when I did a tire rotation including the spare and wheel balancing.

Yun naman sa kalampag, have it checked by casa since under warranty ka pa rin naman

mahina ang buga ng tubig sa right (passenger) side windshield washer ko. ok naman sa left (driver) side. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago. sinubukan ko nang sundutin yung nozzles baka barado lang pero hindi. I also tried checking the hose connection to pero di pala siya maabot or kita. all 3 nozzle holes mahina ang buga. has anyone experienced this?

mga bosing cagayan kc ang area ng work ko kaya manila 2 cagayan lagi ang biyahe ko...brakepad lang lagi problema ko...c sir Julian Talisman ang makakapagpatunay nyan

yung sa akin kc pag isang biyahe ko ng balikan almost 3k n kaagad kc buong cagayan area ang work namin kaya umabot na po ng ganyan yung tinakbo nya...

battery nagpalit na saka spark plug...yun lng..yung takbo walang nabago...

Guys meron lang ako concern. I just got my ertiga gl mt last week.

1. Nag mo moist yong gilid sa headlight ko pina check ko sa casa sabi nila normal lang daw xa kasi nawala naman xa agad.
2. Yong driver side ng door ko hindi xa smoot pag e close.dapat bigyan ng force para ma isarado unlike sa ibang door.sabi naman nila normal lang daw.
3.yong steering wheel pag mag turn ako hindi xa bumabalik agad sa pwesto inaalalay ko pa para bumalik.hindi ko nareklamo sa casa kasi akala ko normal lang.normal lang ba ito pag bago?
4.yong upuan sa pasenger side sa front may punit parang na hit xa ng cutter or blade.hindi kasi nakita ng papa ko pag release sa unit kasi naka plastic yong upuan. after 2 days na namin nakita pag alis sa plastic ng upoan.ni reklamo namin sabi ng casa e check pa daw sa management ang case kasi hindi daw covered sa warranty.sa amin lang hindi naman kami ang nkasira sa upoan yon lang d na check ng papa ko b4 na release kasi xcited na at nka balot ng plastic ang upoan.imposible naman kami kasi parang hit xa ng blade at yong plastic wala naman trace sa blade. Waiting pa kami sa desisyon ng management.
-Yon lang concern ko the rest naman ok lang naman walang problema.Hope matulungan nyo po ako thank you

Mga sir, ma void ba warranty ng Ertiga pag di nasusunod yun scheduled pms. We had a bad experience kasi sa 2nd pms namin. Meron sana akong paayos sa car ngayon. Based on research, hindi daw basihan ang pms sa pag void ng warranty.

the point of the pms, is to ensure that whatever might happen, would be avoided because of the checks and procedures preformed in the "preventive maintenance schedule".
if the manufacturer requires this and that, and you did not do so, and something went wrong... put yourself in their shoes, po.
so, the answer to your question would depend on what the problem is.

in the olden days, sparking plugs were replaced when they were already worn. with regular cleaning and re-gapping, they can easily last 30,000-40,000 km. but because they are cheap nowadays, they are replaced routinely at 10,000 km, whether they are worn or not.
would i have mine replaced at 10,000 km? only if i'm not gonna be the one to pay for them.
