2018 Suzuki Ertiga (Next Gen)
After doing a lot of window shopping and test drives, ertiga is on the top of my list. My isa lang ako napansin, mas ramdam ko sa ertiga yung kalsada. Meaning kapag bako bako ang daan ramdam na ramdam ko sa paa ko compared to other cars na natry ko like BRV and EcoSport. Normal lang na ito or baka matigas lang gulong nung natest drive ko?

Torn between avanza and ertiga ako, kaso ang mga nababasa ko eh:
1. Me amoy gas sa cabin, pero kadalasan amoy gas sa may bandang hood.
2. Mahina pang ilalim, more or less 2 years lang may palitin na na suspension parts.
3. Kadalasan nagmomoist ang headlight (not sure after replacement kung me bumabalik)
4. Nangangamoy usok sa cabin, may butas na dapat takpan.
Let me know if bang for the buck pa din, ayaw ko mobilio, natatakot ako sa cvt eh. Pero isa din sa kinoconsider ko.
Avanza, toyota fanboy ako kaso, ayaw ko talaga ng interior at exterior ng avanza eh, ewan ko ba.

Because it's just a rebadged Daihatsu ... not really a Toyota ...
Yun na nga, in laws ko kasi naka avanza na eh.
AT sana preffered ko kaso ung mobilio eh naka CVT - medyo natakot ako dahil sa isyu ng honda CVT dati. Not sure if same pa din until today. Bago pa din mobilio kaya wala pa siguro gaanong data.
Kaya nasa top choice ko ang ertiga them avanza (kahit hindi ko feel).
May nabasa ako sa fbnpage ng ertiga na part pala ng warranty ung suspension g ertiga, which made me feel safe and secure. Kaso baka naman laging ganun. Stablink lang naman kadalasan bumibigay which is an easy fix.
Ang hindi ko magets is ung amoy usok, amoy gas, and other langitngit sa loob eh.

Hi sir, let me share with you my personal experience regarding some of the issues you raised..
1. Me amoy gas sa cabin, pero kadalasan amoy gas sa may bandang hood.
- There's an option na pwede mo paclose ang vent sa casa, pero on my 1st hand experience, wala naman po akong experience na ganyan though sa group, may mga ganyan silang complain..also may on/off button din kasi para sa vent..
2. Mahina pang ilalim, more or less 2 years lang may palitin na na suspension parts.
- if you were referring to the stabilizer link, yes sir, medyo mahina nga daw kasi may mga owners who's mileage is around 80k+ and yun ang pinalitan sa kanila..
3. Kadalasan nagmomoist ang headlight (not sure after replacement kung me bumabalik)
- meron po ata pero nasolve naman sa casa if ever may moist sir..
4. Nangangamoy usok sa cabin, may butas na dapat takpan.

*** ertiga naman beige interiors
- personal preference siguro sir, pero for me, medyo malamig sa mata ang beige..yun nga lang, pag di mo talaga inalagaan, maging dugyot ang itsura..
*** then both toyota and suzuki have this SCAM called periodic maintenance wherein you have to go FOUR TIMES a year to the casa for services that you DON'T NEED to do that often
- pwede naman magpatanggal sa checklists na sa tingin mo di naman kailangan sir and kadalasan, pumapayag ang casa na wag isama kung ayaw mo hehehe
Regarding the smell na pumapasok sa cabin, clearly stated naman sa owners manual na nag iwan sila mg gap sa recirculation flap to adhere to safety standards.
You have the option to have the dealer adjust this to fully close.
Mga napalitan sa unit ko through warranty claim
1) Stabilizer Link - na aggravate ito sa daming potholes sa hiway going south.
2) Drive shaft oil seal - nag leak dahil sa pag aantay ng stock ng casa dumating para sa replacement na stabilizer link
I haven't experienced yung binanggit mo regarding the may moisture na lights.
It is still a sturdy ride considering the abuse it gets from me at times.
Ang number one concern kp lang for it is mahirap linisin yung interior [emoji23]

Sir vodka, sa vios ko twice a year lang ako nagpapaPMS.
Ung office mate ko naman 1 lang. Kadalasan sa odo sila nakatingin not on months.

ah i get what you mean..what i'm referring to are the items listed in the checklist but you really need to visit the casa...i think it's their policy..
ask ko yung isa'ng kaibigan ko na naka-avanza kung ilang beses din sya nagpapms, pang 2nd year na ng ride nya this month eh, pero alam ko, required din sya to visit the casa regularly, di lang ako sure how frequent..
update ko lang, every 3 months or 5k which ever comes first din "yata" ang policy ni toyota:

Sir buraot, yan ung publish. Pero dami naming naka toyota sa office hindi naman nasusunod ung months, mostly, sa km nakatingin. Ung opismate ko na naka innova halos every 8 to 9 months lang siya nagpaPMs. Ako nman every 6 to 8 months, depende sa lakad ng pamilya.
