April 10th, 2011 03:10 PM #471greetings to everyone
i'm restoring my '99 M/T VITARA. it still runs quite well , a lot of work might be needed on the body and interior, plus the electrical components such as side mirrors, power windows, instrument panel lights, door handles. i'm gonna be needing replacement parts, i'd appreciate any help on where to get quality vitara parts so i could slowly but surely bring it back close to its original state. TIA

Anyone here who experienced a defective fuel pump? (Pump is in the tank).
Did you replace it with the original one, or a replacement part? TIA....

April 12th, 2011 02:41 PM #475Hi guys,
Would you have any idea how I should go about fixing my problem. The thing is, when I was parking this morning, I noticed na parang grounded yung dashboard light ko. Every time I step on the brake pedal, umiilaw na lang bigla yung dashboard light.

its hard to trace electrical problems. when you say "dashboard lights" you mean the whole instrument cluster? not just the brake warning light.
better have it checked by a good electrician. baka may tunaw na wire na nagdidikit kaya pag apak ng pren ilaw din panel.

April 12th, 2011 07:39 PM #477Yup. The whole panel po. Pati yung sa bandang aircon switch. I'll have it checked na nga lang siguro.
Another thing, recently po kasi nagpa-ayos ako ng busina. Tapos one of the things na ginagwa nung electrician ay tinanggal yung mismong steering wheel to check for faulty connections siguro.
Tapos ngayon..somehow parang naka tabingi na yung steering wheel na tipong lumiliko na yung wheels kung fully idi-diretso ko yung steering wheel. Nag try ako tanggalin yung manibela para i-align but after I got the lock nut removed, hindi ko pa rin matanggal yung manibela. Meron pa po bang extra step or lock na kailangan tanggalin para humiwalay siya?
Thanks!

yup, lahat ng oto ganun. yung nut na ang magtutulak pag higpit mo para mag lock sa spline yung streering wheel. usually mga 2 slaps on each side tangal na yun.
Left early for work today. Nadaanan ko yung mga convoy ng National Peace Rally along Q. Blvd/Quiapo...
