i did notice, that there are many scour marks on the lower part the bumper. ... it gives me the impression, that the car was being driven off-road regularly...
if i were the insurance provider, and i found out that the "event" occurred off-road, i would probably decline any claim.

Nope. Wala silang stock na CVT kasi bumili sila sa labas. I specifically told them na sa casa bumili para sure. Pero ang nilagay pa din is generic.Attachment 35554

His post was rather ambiguous. He drained the fluid Shell initially filled. So, there were 2 types...Which was the other? Did Ravenol go in 1st or last?

it was not my intention, po.
i was just exploring the possibilities.
ngayon ko lang din na-puna na (non-casa) CVT fluid nga yung ginamit ng shell mechanic, and not ordinary ATF as i previously mistakenly mis-understood it to be.
i imagine, ask a casa what the correct cvt fluid should have been, and they will almost always say, "ours".
i am also interested, in the time element. i do not know if the event with shell repair took place within a few hours, or a day or two or a week...

anyway, i'm following this thread. i'm interested in what happened, and what can be done.
