Solid axles are inherently stronger and less prone to failure. Haven't seen the new one yet.
If they ditch the solid axles, I'd rather have the current generation.
Same thing happened when Toyota went independent suspension on the Land Cruiser 100 (1998) model. The prices of the older 80 series (92-97) remained steady and the 4wd crowd still preferred it to the newer model.
Currently only the Land Cruiser 70 series, Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wranger, Suzuki Jimny, and some heavy duty models of American full sized pickups are available to consumers with both a front and rear solid axle design.

Sir does this mean that some uses hollow po ba as oppose to solid axles? Sensya npo wala po ako alam kasi sa ganyan

pasensiya na po sa tanong ko, namisplace kasi ng uncle ko yung manual ng jimny.. anu po ba yung switch na nandun mismo sa shift knob sa left side niya na thumb mismo gagamitin pangswitch ? para saan po gamit nun?
