Thank you so much. Now I'm learning more based on your suggestions though I didn't get the advice of mr kestana since im not yet familiar with the tubes mentioned with regards to the engine.

After a week of driving and owning my swift, I still feel anxious driving on inclined pavements. The engine still dies on me upon accelerating so I still use handbrake prior moving especially if its traffic.

    1) Remove the long pipe + resonator just before the airbox, it will allow the engine to breathe better. If you want it to suck cool air, get a flexible intake hose and direct it to the slot just behind the left side of the grill. You can see the slot below.

    2) Do a coolant bypass so it doesn't run through the throttle body anymore, which will allow the throttle body to stay cool.
    3) Replace your stock air filter with an aftermarket air filter. K&N filter number that fits our Swift is 33-2968. Hurricane/Ferrox filter number would be HS-0301. We have the same filter as on the Ertiga 1.4 petrol.

OK service nila. pati yung ginasgasan sa likod ko, ginawan nila ng paraan ng walang charge!
meron pa konte pero di naman halata, at kung di daw weekend yun baka nabugahan pa daw nila ng paint kung di ako nagmamadali.

No. This is the stock headunit on the recently refreshed Swift, the new one with the chrome accent on the foglamps. The headunit isn't Android though.

I just took pictures of it so I can report it here. I actually thought it was Android until I tried it.

My mother sometimes uses my Swift and she's 5' 1". No complaints. As for the steering wheel, it's height adjustable. No telescopic adjustment though. If you want, you can always put a sofa pillow in the driver's seat. My sister who is 4' 10" puts a sofa pillow on her car's seat since it doesn't have height adjustment. You should test drive yourself first.

Note that the Swift is actually quite tall for a supermini. Not low at all and fairly easy to see the road. Here's a side shot of my Swift. Notice how high it sits on the ground, like a mini crossover.

Good Day SwiftMeisters!!! finally reached the end of the thread and i want to thank you all for the information provided.

Planning on getting our own suzuki swift in the near future (already contacted resty and mary to start inhouse application process and will decide between the two depending on who has a better offer)

The only problem im looking at right now is my location which is Baguio and ang pinaka malapit samin na casa would be suzuki pampanga or pangasinan, also i work from home and even if i drive my swift on a dailly basis after work knowing that baguio is a small town im afraid inde ko mameet KMS requirement ng PMS and would need to go by the month, ok lng kaya na makiusap sa casa na ilengthen ung months for my PMS schedulle considering my KMS used?

Newbie here and first car would be a suzuki swift if all goes well...

you will probably get two answers..
from SA: "ok lang sir yung pms..basta xxxx km... so, do we have a deal, sir?"
from SA: "sir, paso na po ang warranty nyo.. hindi nyo kasi pina-pms... xxxx km or 6 months, whichever comes first..."

SA = sales advisor, aka sales agent.
    SA = service advisor.

times like this, i always remind myself that the black-and-white on paper always trumps the verbal.

i also like the swift.. except that the designers didn't make the second row useful for adults.

    Hi,

I'm in the process of getting a the face lifted swift and the dealer told me that for AT version black, grey and silver lang available colors. Sa MT lang may red at white which was my first two choices. Now having problems what color to choose, any thoughts?

Try to ask other dealerships baka magawan paraan yun color choice nyo po. Baka may naliligaw na ibang kulay sa a/t. It happens din kasi

Thanks Doc! which gives me no choice but have the PMS done when it should be which is no problem with me at gusto ko rin naman talaga alagaan first car ko... i just hope they would give me a fair price knowing that malau pa mangangalingan ko (toll/gas/time) and would give me a few perks para worth it yung pagbaba ko from Baguio

Driving to the dealer will just be for a few times a year. Consider it an exercise for your Swift. Vehicles need to stretch their legs once in a while.
