Patulong po, I already had my toyota corolla lovelife power steering repaired twice within a month. The problem is putok yun oil seal ng power steering.

I encountered na problem when im about to park.

Bakit po kaya pumuputok yun oil seals. Is this due to poor workmanship or di maganda quality ng repair kit.

I would also like to ask reliable shop near antipolo rizal na pwede ko mapagawaan.

    Thanks I really need help.

Sir the reservoir is full and the system has no leak kasi kakapagawa lang po mga about 2weeks ago kasi pumutok din sya last time.

simulan mo na lang troubleshooting mo with the easiest which is the fluid, belt tension, etc.

Sir miked thanks for the response. Posible po ba maayos in case maluwag ang seal pag ipapachrome plate yun steering column.

In case its not functioning meron din po ba repair kit para dito.

How much po kaya ang brand new at surplus na rack and pinion assembly and san po mura bumili. Baka ayun nalng ang solusyon.

    Thanks po.

power steering of both bigbody and lovelife are sabihin na nating weak points ng corolla of that generation.

first, use only OEM seals for your power steering assembly, more often than not,

*bili bagong shaft - merong brand new shaft, pero napakamahal, around 14-15k ata for the shaft only
*had the shaft plated din - i dunno how this is done pero parang ayaw ko.
*overhaul ng rack and pinion ulit, but now, babawasan na yung oil seal spring para mas yumakap sa shaft
*bili ng rack and pinion surplus.

so i picked the third option, had it replaced with a surplus rack and pinion. up until nabenta ko sya, wala na problema.

San ka po nakabili ng surplus and how much po. Mukhang that is the best option hassle kasi pag pumutok. Ngaoyon meron parin leak kahit kakaayos lang naasar na ako ibalik kasi for sure same lang ang results. Also considering the plating pero just in case ma medyo mahal din over all na magagastos baka dun nlng talaga ako sa surplus pagipinan ko nalang.

    Thanks

My power steering was leaking at the sealing right side.
I try out this stuff and it works:
Auto Parts Power Steering Repair Additives ,overhaul Rack & Pinion - Offered Philippines - 37076314
I know that stuff from the U.K. Forum and that guys told me it would help for beginning leaks, is the rack and pinion complete worn out it helps not.
I have nothing todo with that guys, i can only say that they asked me about my problem to make shure that this fluid will help.
And it helped for my problem.
The steering is smother and softer since i use it.
You can order it in ebay U.K, for less than half include shipping, needs only 2-4 weeks for shipping.
When you have time you can safe a lot money.
Search in eby U.K. for "Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak"andyou will find a lot offers.

    .

for its price and convenience, it worth the try but no guarantees. power steering hoses leak sometimes after five years. if you use other than honda/acura compatible power steering fluid, it will leak in a matter of week/s. if the power steering is left with so much load, e.g., staying too long on an extreme hard turn when you can hear the power steering load up repeatedly shortens the life of the power steering system

nope! do it the right way, OEM repair kit.

TS, just a thought nagpalit ka na rin ba ng feeder hose? baka hinde original or mali yun size kaya hirap yun pump then since meron pressure ang bumibigay eh yun seal
