Help po. Whenever I'm running 140kph and faster, nag vivibrate po yung oto, specifically sa steering wheel everytime na tapakan ko yung brake kahit soft or hard braking.
Any idea what's the problem of my car?
TIA

possible kaya alignment lang? sana ganun lang kasimple yung problem.
Vibration could come from anywhere. Aside from those mentioned above, it could be coming from the loose axle bearings, unbalance wheels, driveshafts/joints and worn or damaged tires. Have it check by a reputable underchassis specialist. And keep it down down from 140kph, not only do you save gas but it also prevents you from getting a ticket. Safe motoring.
Pag nababasa kasi i.e. carwash after a long drive, mag warp yung metal because of thermal conduction/ contraction. Same as cold ceramic or glass being poured with hot liquid, it'll surely break if not insulated or if the heat does not dissipate on other objects.
Good thing, yun talaga ang culprit.
Try mo pa rin na pa check bearings and tie rods and steering knuckles. pwede rin kasi yun ang dahilan.
4 wheel disc ba tsikot mo? try mo muna harap pag ganun.
sir, so far nawala na yung vibrate when braking sa oto ko.
I'm not sure if ano nag solve sa problem, what I did is, basically preparation para sa isang track day sa batangas. change mga bushng, tie rod, etc. (mga pang ilalim sa harap) and change 1 set of tires.
Sa gulong ang main culprit nyan...sumunod ang suspension parts....like bushings and so on....
OT sinong sira?^^^^
jk.
Kaunti pa lang kasi natatakbo ng altis ko that time, around 30k kms pa lang yata, so i ruled out worn-out bushings and tie rods.
I think that's exactly what solved the problem. Braking specially during high-speed driving requires that your suspension and steering systems are tight. Looseness given by worn-out tie rods, rack ends, ball joints and bushings will give clearances enough for your wheels and steering wheel to wiggle. On a jacked-up front end, grab the tire at 9 and 3 o clock positions and try to move them. If the wheel moves from side to side however small, something is wrong. Clearance on the 12 and 6 o clock positions means wheel bearings.
A warped rotor disc will have a pulsating feeling on your pedal as you brake and also generates unnecessary heat on the rotor and pads warping further the former and damaging the latter. Reface the rotors or drums if there is heat build-up, grooves on the surfaces and discolorations.
Unbalanced front wheels will wiggle at speeds of about 60-80kph and disappears as you go faster, the wiggle and vibrations being felt on the steering wheel also.
Toe and caster adjustments if the car wanders uncontrollably or pulls to either of the side.
Camber correction naman if uneven tire wear patterns. Though you may want your camber to be more on the negative settings for hard, tight cornerings on the track.
nakakalambot kasi parang walang nagiging improvement..
