Had that checked too and it was fine. The Mazda 3 uses 2 small shock absorbers for the trunk lid, no leaks at all.

Which welded part should I have checked? Hindi ba buong panel naman yun so walang welding?

Swerte ka cuz it was just a bushing problem. Natry ko na palitan yung akin but same pa rin may sound pa rin.

Not yet, but I had my coil spring checked and it had no broken bits.

Finally solved my rattling!!! I noticed that even though there's a sound when my brakes are on, it sounds different compared from when I'm not stepping on the brakes.

Brought the car to Cruven Makati and asked them to check the brakes. They disassembled the caliper assembly and found that the brake pad was not snugly
fit into the housing. They welded the pad's edges to make it fit snugly. And poof! No more rattle!

Problem solved for only 350 pesos. Unfortunately I also spent 2.2k for new stab links, but that's part of the learning. Thanks to all those who chimed in their suggestions. Unknown Kalampag (Not Suspension-related)🏼

Alam kagad nila yung gagawin when I pointed out that it was a brake issue. I'm not sure if other shops would've been able to diagnose it correctly and weld the brake pad edges as a solution. Yung ibang shops nga parang wala namang welding machine though of course baka di ko lang nakikitang ginagamit.

To be fair though, if I didn't tell them of my observations with the brakes, I'm sure they would've thought that the suspension was the culprit as well. Inexplain ko na kagad that I've changed all my suspension bits so they should look elsewhere.
