    I experienced this as well with my Westlake tires. Na weirduhan din ako. Second hand kase kotse Kaya hindi ako sure s history ng tires. Never bothered to check the manufacturing date. I just replaced them they moment I saw this problem. Dry rot pala tawag dun.

    it looks like the rubber sole of my name-brand shoes before.
    i was informed by someone, that their rubber compound was not up to spec.
    the shoe model had since disappeared from the local market.

    Same problem I got with with Bridgestone tire. I think this is a production problem or a bad batch of tires. Seems rubber formulation is not so pure or concentrated. The tire I have problem with did not last very long and had it replaced.
