It is equally important to know the torque of each botls. Hindi lang basta bolt tightening.
Bolt tightening of body or engine mounts.
Overtightening destroys the insulation and eventually will cause squeaking.
Same thing kung loose, may play yung inner bolt so kumikiskis sa frame or may kalampag tuwing nalulubak.
You can easily DIY this if you know the manufacturer's torque settings.
gumagamit pa ba ng casa ng torque wrench? baka bara2x pag higpit nyan.
Ganito ata ang ginagawa ng rigid collar. Anyone who tried or is using rigid collar here?
kasama na nga sa pms kasi ginawa na nila iyang service na iyan sa monty namin sa 15k schedule niya maski hindi ko naman ni-request
i'm thinking of bringing our fd to honda spa after the rains. ang layo kasi ng quezon city sa las pinas kaya ingat muna at ayoko ma-stranded sa daan kapag minalas![]()
most modern cars are now unibody construction.. except for fender bolts and bumper bolts, there are no "body bolts".
so i suppose these "body bolts" mean the engine support and suspension-related bolts. ?
standard sae and standard metric bolt torque lang naman siguro ang torque values. just google, daming available torque charts sa net.
so that means i maybe buying a torque wrench and a metric socket set. naah, not a set. 12, 13, 14, 17, 19 and 24 mm.
Just want to ask, does the 2000 civic Vti have this? All suspension parts are new but I can still hear "kalampang" on an uneven road, but none on humps.
I've experienced this sa Pajero namin na 1993 model. Matatag parin naman hanggang ngayon kahit 20 years old na. We had a suspension change already.
For bolt tightening you can bring your car to any reputable mechanic who understands bolt readings and has a torque wrench. Each bolt indicates on its head what torque it requires then set na lang ng mechanic yung torque sa wrench niya.
