for your reference part # for your LC40 for OME front N41/N51 rear N89/N95. first part # firmer ride, for increased weight eg. bullbar, winch. max lift 2".

Given that its surplus, maybe they should price it a bit more lower (1.5K?)...
It'll be a "hit or miss" thang though on getting a set that will last long or not. Given that its surplus for 4x4s (from Japan? Australia?), there is a high likelihood that it was used hard by the previous owner.

dont know. but to check if it is still in good working condition. depress it quickly if it holds then ok. then after depressing let go, if it goes up then ok. for OME and Bilstein, and other gas shocks. try to look sa o-ring sa may rod if it is coated with oil as in basang basa, then siguro it will not last long.

comment:: dont you think it unwise to buy surplus or used shocks? especially given the fact that you can get good brand new ones for less than half the price?

July 31st, 2003 05:55 PM #8parang nabalitaan ko dati ginagawa nila sa surplus shocks ay binubutasa and pinupuno ulit ng kung ano man ang nasa loob nun then weld the hole shut and sabi daw hindi safe ito...?
tama ba ang sinabi ko?
