i've been experiencing this lately sa innova ko. ano ang mga kailangan i-check or paliltan?
thanks

tnx
Another austere measure would be wheel balancing. Baka ganun lang kasimple problema mo. HTH
both posters are actually right. it can only be a simple case of alignment and/or wheel balancing.
Worst thing might be the car having a case of "bump steer." That's related to one of the suspension settings, I can't remember which particular one at the moment.
sir, check niyo muna ang Tire Pressure kung nasa tamang setting. also, check for possible uneven tread wear sa gulong. but anywayz, kung ok naman ang tire pressure and tread wear, then I suggest you to do a test drive on a flat (even) road, para ma test ng maayos kung kumakabig pa din ang manibela (or if the car is drifting to one side or the other). diyan mo malalaman ng mabuti kung kailangan mo na ng Alignment. also, kung nag va-vibrate naman ang manibela (specially * 60 mph (90-100 kph??), then Balancing naman ang kailangan mo.
aite, peace.
well, it could be the Camber or the Toe adjustments. kung mas malaki ang wear sa inner side ng gulong then you have a Negative Camber (or Positive Toe..) but before doing anything, jack up the front end of the car and see if theres any worn suspension bushings and ball joints. check for worn out Tire Rod ends as well.
aite, peace.
Never heard of "bump steer." But I have heard of "bum steer," which in journalistic parlance means "nakuryente" or a reporter given wrong information by his source.
thanks guys... i will have it checked this saturday. balitaan ko kayo kung ano ang verdict ng gagawa
"Bump steer" is a term for the thread starter's symptoms that I've read about somewhere.
Let's say the vehicle in question has excessive bump steer. When the vehicle is travelling in a straight line and the front wheels encounter a bump in the road, the tendency is for the said wheels to develop play in the milliseconds that they lose contact with the road, and "steer" themselves at an angle instead of going in a straight line. This is happening without any input from the steering wheel.

It's just a suggestion. I think it can be cured by alignment too, though.
