are there disadvantages when using rubber lifters (or other types of lifters)?

Well, rubber itself can degrade and crumble as it gets old & brittle. But it does last for years and it's cheap to replace.

Will rubber lifters help with rubbing sa fender ng rear wheels?

Mali kasi offset ng rims ko.

if the overlap is small, you can have the fender lip rolled. SPEEDLAB offers professional lip rolling service.

rubber lifters will make your car stance look great.

We used o-sulee(not sure with the spelling of the brand name) on our mitsubishi spacegear. it was lifted for almost 2.5 inches in the rear and it was great., the ride didn't change at all.

went to wheelers yesterday nagpalagay ako lifter, ganda na ng tindig ng oto, dati mababa yung front and rear ng driver side. nawala rin rubbing issues sa front tire driver side.

totoo ba na mas mawawala yun tagtag pag may lifter? pano kung hindi naka lowered yun sasakyan baka mag bukhang 4wd yun auto sa taas? hehe.. sentra series 3 yun car(hindi lowered)
