Went to speedyfix yesterday to have my problem with "umuugong" na power steering fix. overhaul ng pump tsaka palit ng suction hose. okay na sa wakas!

Congrats sa new shop mo Migs! medyo naligaw ng konti. buti nalang nailagay mo yung signage sa labas ng gate ng shop mo at nasilip ko nung naghahanap ako along P. Guevara.

ask ko lang po kung gumagawa din po kayo ng power steering problem ng toyota corolla xe bigbody, nakita kasi na may leak both side ng power steering rack nung itinaas auto ko. sabi makukuha daw sa pagpalit ng kit......... ask ko na din kung how much po ang labor nito? PM nyo na lang po ako! thanks

hi, we don't overhaul steering racks since pabalik balik lang yung mga leaks. we can replace the rack with a surplus one and you can call the shop at the number in my sig for the estimate.

Power steering leak din problema ko at Nagpatulong ako dun sa suki kong tindahan sa Banawe. Tinuro ako dun sa power steering specialist sa BMA ave.

price for repair of rack and pinion is 3K kasama na kung kailangan ireface yung shaft. of course, excluded ang PS fluid and boot (kung sira din).

dahil sa reasonable naman ang price ay pinagawa ko na. it took them around 3 hours for the removal, ovehaul, and re-installation.

pinakita sa akin ang cause ng leak at may tama yung shafting.

The shop only do power steering. Name ng shop ay Toto power steering specialist. And they give 3 months warranty.

BMA ave. is parallel to Banawe. it is first street on the right if you are coming from E. Rod corner Araneta ave.

palpak gawa nung TOTO sa kotse ko...nag bayad ako 3thou...tumutulo pa din...nagsayang lang ako pera...at muntik pa akong madisgrasya sa ginawa nila sa gulong ko...hindi nila hinigpitan yung nuts nung gulong...pag uwi ko sa bahay, 2 na lang ang natira...at sobrang luwag nung natira..umaalog na ang gulong ko...buti na lang,hindi natanggal yung gulong ko

i'm also having problems regarding power steering fluid leak on our civic ek.
unti unti nababawasan un fluid. but lately, mas malakas na bumawas un fluid.

nag pa change oil ako sa honda q ave. they also did a quick 20 pt check up.
and they found gear box leak (34k + 3k for labor), PS boot LH/RH (1.8k)

Free ba mag pa checkup and estimate sa Speedy fix ? i want a second opinion about my car.

OT lang. connected ba un powersteering sa transmission? cause they use the same fluid. and curious ako baket sa gearbox ang may leak. samantala sa steering wheel ko ramdam pag mababa na ang fluid ko.

Hindi siya connected sa transmisson even they use the same Fluid/oil, the same lang sila ng oil talaga, usually kase kaya nagkakaroon ng leak sa gear box kase meron din repair kit sa loob, mga rubber, posibleng worn out na yung mga rubber kaya nagleak na, depende din sa type ng gear box, meron napapalitan pa ng repair kit meron din palit na bago gear box, mahal talaga pag casa ka papagawa

No sir, the PS boots will not stop the fluid leak, the PS boots is only a cover para hindi pasukin ng dumi yung gear, sira na din siguro yung PS boots kaya na advice ka na palitan yung ps boots, repair kit or gear box yung pwedeng maging cause ng leak

sila gumawa ng leaking rack and pinion ng 2000 civic vti ng misis ko three years ago.

good day mga boss, my car is honda city type z 2000 model. im also having some problems with the power steering, i had my steering pump overhauled about almost a year ago, because of the leak. it was then fixed but recently i have been experiencing a loud humming sound when i turn the steering wheel left or right. pinacheck ko sya ang sabi is the pressure hose. may kamahalan ang pressure hose ng honda, i inquired at 10k ang oem nya,so far d pa ako nakakabili dahil ala pa budget.
anyway, i was also confused kasi wala ako nakikitang tagas from the power steering pump pero nag babawas ang fluid, and may times na matigas ang manibela, just recently chineck ko yung ilalim ng carpet sa driver side kasi parang may nakita akong basa. there i found out na dun tumatagas ang fluid sa shaft where the steering wheel is connected.

i dont know kung power steering gear box ang tawag dun or rack and pinion. i can only do minor troubleshooting but i dont really know much about engines, so i'd like to ask for your opinions po before ko ipa check yung car ko para nman di ako ma uto ng mga mekaniko. hehe.

---yung ganito po ba ay kaya pa ng overhaul?
---gear box po ba ito or rack and pinion assembly?
--- ang repair kit po ba e set na for both steering gear box and rack and pinion or magkaiba yun? kasi may nabasa ako sa other thread na may kotse na rack and pinion type at may gear box type? tama po ba?

sir yung mga tropa ko dun kami lahat nagpapagawa so far so good naman... yung isang kasamahan ko more than a year na ps nya... ok parin po... baka na tyempo lang po yun... at dun pa nga dinadala ng ibang shop ang mga overhaul nilang p.s.... kahit saan shop may time talaga may back job... normal lang po yun kahit nga casa may back job...

or kung may iba pang shop na magaling at hindi mahal maningil.

sir wala akong contack no. alam ko lang po puntahan... near corner E. Rodriguez po yun... sa harap ng dating PCSO OFFICE... IF galing kayong manila... pag nasa quezon ave... turn right at araneta ave.. then turn right at e. rodriguez then kung hindi sa unang kanto sa pangalawang corner... turn right near corner po sila... madaming nakahilera dun na gumagawa ng P.S. bandang gitna po yung toto... may warranty din sila... and you can also buy power steering fluid dun na color white banda dun sa area nila magtanong nalang po kayo... nasa 120 po lang per liter...

Sir Migs. Pa advice naman.My FD is losing power steering fluid, kaya nag top up ako weekly. Malakas ang leak sa may rubber boot sa rack n pinion. Dinala ko sa casa , need daw remanufacture the gear box and 2 weeks daw ang downtime.
How much ba pa repair sa inyo ng rack n pinion leak? Thanks.
