April 15th, 2009 12:23 AM #21I doubt this because im 'a car-distance' away from the car i hit. i was pressing on the brakes repeatedly, d talga kumakagat. I think the shop knew there was something wrong with the brakes when i returned it because when the other technician checked it, spongy na daw ung brakes ko and then nung chineck nung gumawa before, he doesnt want to admit that. he just dismissed the comment of the other guy and went on to test the brakes, fluid, etc and concluded na wla daw talga problema, except that maybe naglock daw ung brakes and the wheels continued to roll even if i pressed the brakes.
Whatever the cause may be. i know there was something wrong with the installation of the brakes bec i fully know that i hit on the brakes hard while im still far and it wasnt really working. im really disappointed with shell las pinas (the one near perpetual). they initially offered to pay half of the repair cost and now they are saying they will not pay anything AT ALL! :mad2:
I will really file a case against them. My life was endagered and they won't take responsibility for it at all?! that's just not acceptable. this may happen to other clients as well and they should learn from this!

Read a good feedback about customers cradle, since wala nako warranty sa casa plan ko sana pa change oil dito, nag pa quote ako
Change Oil (FS) - 3475
Tune Up w/8 regular spark plugs- 1310
Clean,check&adjust brakes- 720
Wheel Alignment-700
General Check up-450
Air filter for Honda City 2010 starts at 1200 est. price and cabin filter starts at 2700.
WTF? Mahal ng change oil. Mas mura pa sa Honda Casa. Not sure dun sa ibang service mahal ba?

August 31st, 2018 01:06 AM #24Mahal talaga ang FS oil sa kanila. Dunno why eh Shell lang naman ang brand. The good thing is you can bring your own oil and filter unlike sa casa na may corkage fee.
Wheel alignment is also expensive compared sa Tire Center or Servitek.
I'd suggest buying your own consumables. Sa price ng labor sila lamang sa casa and of course, the customer's lounge.
Bantayan mo ngapala ang tsikot mo. Second time na nagpagawa ako (change oil and brakes cleaning) pag turn on ko ng kotse naka-on agad ang aircon, malakas ang volume ng radyo at sobrang higpit ang handbrake (3 clicks lang kagat na iirc). Nadismaya ako.

August 31st, 2018 06:47 PM #29Ok naman ang customers cradle in general. Pwede mong panoorin habang ginagawa ang sasakyan, mas mura ang labor kaysa casa, the personnel are courteous, and you can bring your own consumables para mas makatipid.
They're also open on Sundays and some holidays.
Free coffee, wifi, TV sa air-conditioned lounge.
May Motech sa bandang Zapote though I haven't tried it.

from what i understand, the engine failure was attributed out-of-spec components and/or...
