drew_5950: another reason is "naninikit" kadalasan sa mga drum kapag nababaha. have it checked, cleaned and bleed to eliminate the air along the lines.

sa Shell they use a vaccum for draining the fluid. wala nang bombahan. any idea how much this is?

Suki rin ako sa shell malapit sa min pero they only replace the fluid (brake) in the reservoir using a vacccum. Nothing more along the lines.

I just don't know the particular name of the vacuum, basta pang brake bleeding sya.

IMO its better if you use the conventional type, It will surely eliminate air from the lines because the fluid will be flowing freeely from the pump up to the bleeder, thus eliminating bubbles.

had my mechanic check on my brakes. it was just worn out pads

weird thing is, last time nagpalit ako ng bagong pads, may squeal kapag nag break ako. must've been dirty rotors. now with another new set of pads, no more squeal

    thanks for the help guys

I believe that both techniques are just as effective, different methods lang. Pero mas common talaga ang Pump and Hold method because you don't need the vacuum and yes, it will effectively eliminate the air/bubbles in the line.

either method will work naman. problem with the vacuum bleeder is you tend to use more brake fluid.

normally if there were no air bubbles in the brake system before, hindi rin sya magkakaroon bigla bigla. maybe there is something wrong na talaga.
