    Hi Guys,

    Need your advice on this.
Napansin namin medyo bumababa yung brake fluid level ng car. Siguro mga 1 tablespoon dinadagdag namin every 1 to 2 weeks?
Not sure if may slow leak ba sa bleeder valve kasi pinableed namin sya last October or baka dahil worn out na din brake pads?(mag 4.5+ years na yung brake pads).

Thanks.

Possible dahil sa brake pad mo sir. Try to replace the brake pad po and monitor if magbabawas parin ang brake fluid.

    HTH!

have the brake pads looked at. if the thickness is ok then its not necessary to change. the brake fluid on the other hand probably needs changing if its over 4yrs.

Thanks sir. Kakabrake fluid change lang din nung October. Kaya naisip ko din if baka hindi nahigpitan yung bleeder valve msyado during the fluid change?

Or most likely dahil sa worn out brake prads since sobrang slow lang nung pag decrease?

I will drop by sa Speedyfix siguro sa Friday to have them check just to be sure na din. Thanks sirs!

dalhin mo sa gas station tapos paangat mo yung car... tapos tignan mo kung may leak yung valves...

di naman madali matuyo ang fuid... so makikita mo yan

check mo na din yung master

brakepads do not normally wear that fast... unless your rotors are sandpaper-lined.
my guess is, you're leaking brake fluid.
hoist the car up and take a good look around the brake lines and brake mechanisms. look for something that's wet with brake fluid. don't forget the brake master.

4.5 years for the brake pads. Yung fluid was about 2 months ago.

Yung 2008 vios ko still had original brake pads when sold in february this year with lots of meat left even after clocking 120k+ kms.

Went to Speedyfix kanina and they said na yung brake master yung may leak and need palitan.

check mo rin kulay ng fluid if darker or contaminated. pabukas mo 4 wheels and pa inspek mo. meron leak yan mahina.

While at it, check the fluid's water content w/ a DOT3/4 calibrated fluid hygrometer.
