May 24th, 2012 09:28 PM #15I even asked sa casa, okay lang naman daw na i-drive kasi even walang abs, andun pa din yung conventional breaking. just wanna ask, so hanggang ngayon hinayaan niyo lang na nakaon yung ABS light? what i did was to removed the bulb ng abs sa dash para di na umilaw. nakakailang kasi, but i have plans na ipatanggal yung abs. 500 daw charge sa evangelista. I'm looking for shops na mas mura ang charge. and baka ipa-diagnose ko na din if ever mang kasama na dun lahat.

sa akin, sayang yung abs mo kung ipapatangal mo.
try mo i pa check... dahil minsan, yung warning light indicators may show some deeper problems.

If you intend to disable the ABS, pulling the ABS fuse would've sufficed. But then, who in their right mind would want to do that?
ABS allows you to steer the vehicle out of harm's way even if you have both feet on the brake pedal. It's a safety feature that you hope you won't have to use. But if the situation asks for it, your chances of preventing or reducing the severity of an accident is greatly increased.
So have it fixed. It may or may not cost a lot, but you can't put a price tag on the life or limb it can potentially save.
