I have a Nissan Exalta STA car. Napasudden break ako kanina and then nag on yung ABS Light. Nung ipapacheck ko, namatay naman. Tapos from Pandacan to Evangelista Makati, di siya nag on. Nung pauwi ako nag on ulit. Ano kayang problema? And san ba pwedeng magpacheck up which is free? and yung pwede magpaquotation kung anong problema.

first, check if your tires' circumference are within one inch of each other. check if the tires' age (coefficient of friction-tire traction) is no older than five years old. check if your wheel speed sensor trigger wheels are free of iron particles and that the wiring are neither frayed nor loose contact.

Do you know shops where I can have my ABS sensors be cleaned? That will be my last resort before going to Casa. Already asked Nissan UN for the abs diagnostic. It costs 2,500. But they will do it for a maximum of 3 days.

doesn't the philippines have competent technicians? this operation is a routine operation and an almost everyday occurence at the dealerships.

I even asked sa casa, okay lang naman daw na i-drive kasi even walang abs, andun pa din yung conventional breaking. just wanna ask, so hanggang ngayon hinayaan niyo lang na nakaon yung ABS light? what i did was to removed the bulb ng abs sa dash para di na umilaw. nakakailang kasi, but i have plans na ipatanggal yung abs. 500 daw charge sa evangelista. I'm looking for shops na mas mura ang charge. and baka ipa-diagnose ko na din if ever mang kasama na dun lahat.

Maybe what he means is that even with ABS not working the system should default to normal braking.

correct, brake system still operates conventionally even with the "ABS" warning light on. But still, much better if you would repair it and you never know when you will need it.

not always true. example the old bendix 10 and 11, abs problem will result in no conventional brakes too.
