subaru impreza 2.0R Sport vs Lancer 2.0 gls???

I get 8.7 km/l on the Impreza 2.0R M/T.
Mabilis naman acceleration, pag nasa 3k - 5k rpm ang upak mo. Very stable at 180kph.
Its the closest feeling BMW car I've driven. Solid na solid.

Now on the AWD thing, on the A/T version...bleh! On the M/T version, penalty is negligible. Sa akyatan, walang tatalo sa 4wd though.

For the gulongs. No issues on the uneven wear, basta yun gulong mo, lahat same size.
Unlike sa 2wd, you can have different sized tires front vs rear. Di mo pwede gawin sa AWD. Center diff can adjust to the differences in tire wear.

Your call though. Test drive twice for each car. Whatever your butt likes, you buy. :D
But of course, with the AT version. FAST = Lancer, Solid = Impreza.

Post your review here after mo ma-test drive yung Lancer glx. i'm actually on the same boat as you. pero ako 2 months na ata hindi padin maka decide.

thinking between Impreza M/T and Lancer GLX (para M/T) tapos I'll dress-up nalang the Lancer kasi sobrang bare nga nung itsura dahil lowest trim. Dati 50-50 ako pero ngayon I'm leaning towards the Lancer na. Mainly because it's better looking and it's much much faster. More aftermarket toys as well.

Sa Impreza naman i really like its interior and the solid feel to it. Alam mo talaga na Premium brand talaga. Solid na solid. I also like the feel of its OEM bucket seats.

Ahh yeah...love the bucket seats. But rear passengers don't like it much.

Blocking the front view raw. :D
I bought the subaru, because the Lancer drives too much like the previous version (1.6L engine). Not that the old one sucks.
SO yun..sa garahe, lancer + subaru. Nice combo. haha!
