    Im thinking of modifying my XT exhaust system. Has anyone tried it? Please share your experience.

    Got our iP unit this week. Puwede daw gamitin within 7 days upon release sa casa? Akala ko one day lang ang waiver. Also I'm missing some of the basic features like

    1. Door auto lock when driving. Either speed sense or drive change hindi ko mahanap sa manual how to enable
    2. Sound buzz enable on locking/unlocking the door wala din sa manual.
    3. The temp gauge is gone?

    madami pa mawawala dyan , maswerte pa tayo may manual hand break pa..... at may shift knob pa.. heheh

    No speed sensing auto lock, you have to manually push the lock all doors. Sound buzz not so sure. Temp guage you can access sa tri meter sa screen above the center air vents

    Temp gauge for engine? I think outside temp yun nasa trimeter. Upon searching warning lights nalang ang lalabas if cold or overheat na yun engine? Like blue when cold start. Hindi ko lang napansin kada start ko haha.

    Does the iPrem have the colored screen sa ibabaw ng air vents? Sorry not sure. I have the oil temp , and throttle percentage and range meter on the trimeter there

    Nope, only b&w fixed display on the iP (like the one on the old fortuners). Yun sa FXT yun puwede palitan yun settings and display.

    Yes same on the iL. I've confirmed on my SA na sa XTs and 2.5L premium models abroad lang yun colored (as seen on the brochure). So akala ko din pati premium dito satin ganon.

    Saw someone post in this thread the 40 km PMS cost P29k which the oil is Motul and costing more than half the total expense, do they have cheaper brand synthetic oil?

    How much does it usually cost for your yearly PMS on average? 10, 20, 30km, ....

    Ohhh okay sorry , thought meron and only sa iL yung b&w screen. Yeah may warning light naman if going above running temp. It will flash. Then the light will light still pag near over heating na. But yeah may blue light for cold start. If it goes away running temp na

    no one beats toyota when it comes to parts, pero subaru is getting there which is partly owed by toyota...plenty of aftermarket stuff as long as you know where to look...unlike toyota, most parts can be had easily

    With the low sales of the RAV4 compared to the Forester, I doubt that it will get the same level of parts availability as a Vios or Altis. Camry parts will be easier as it is more common than the current generation RAV4.

    The Forester has common parts with the Impreza and XV and WRX.

    For those owners of new Foresters na merong eyesight, how did you get around it with your tints? Or wala talagang tint sa windshield totally?

    Most of those I read regarding eyesight are in the US, which is illegal naman maglagay ng tint sa harap....

    Last PMS ng kakilala ko na naka forester umabot ng 102K parts and labor.

    Considering 2x a year ang PMS nya. We were wondering nga bakit hindi na-report yung mga sira nung last PMS.

    Mahal ung timing belt and tensioner.

    Maybe they skimp on sound deadening materials for the base model. It seems it is a common issue in other boards.
