TSCP Strada Mods [continued 2]

i almost forgot, regarding the a/c filters for the strada.... i just finished fabricating/installing a filter on my unit. i will post the pics when i a done uploading.

as for the cost of the installation, it won't be expensive, and it will only take me an hour or so to finish it.

i'm still trying to source a more cheaper element though before i formally offer it to you guys!!!

Guys question.... i was browsing awhile back and i came across with DIY boosting with washer mod placed in between the wastegate and the compressor.

question is napaka tagal na kasi nung thread na yun at the same time hindi pa crdi yung 4d56 that time.

have anybody here tried it again sa 4d56 CRDI? any gains? thanks guys.

Si sir KCboy na-try na ata sa CRDi 3.2 strada, no improvement ata. Pang-non crdi 4d56 with M/T lang atan yan effective. No big improvement din sa mga A/T tranny eh AFAIK.

Will look into Coopers, angas nga nung mga mud tires kaso daily driven baka maubos agad hehe. Salamats!

Cooper Discoverer STT has shorter thread life compared to ATR (same with all mud-terrain tires). Ok lang kung hindi daily driver ang truck. Pero maporma talaga ang mud-terrains.

Based sa reviews ng mga naka-cooper dito sa amin, mas matagal siya mapudpod kesa sa Dunlop at Bridgestone. I don't know if its 100% accurate ha.

Yes sir this works only if your boost cut control is already bypass every 1mm of washer is equal to 1psi of boost, but if you still have the boost cut control wala po siyang effect.

anyway kakapa change oil ko lang kanina then afterwards i went to a muffler shop here in Las pinas and i had my muffler removed and replaced it with a straight pipe with resonator. mas magaan ngayon tumakbo yung strada at mas dinig yung spool ng turbo.

yung washer Mod sana isusunod ko eh.

hi to all, just wanted to ask were can I buy new A/T tires for my strada gls
I will be retaining my strada stock rims. currently my tires are 245/65R17.
Are there 245/65R17 A/T tires? if not my option is 265/65R17 A/T tires.
do you guys know were to find them?

alin dun bro? kung yung sa washer dito ko lang din sa tsikot nakita eh.

if its about the muffler. very easy. just go under your pick up and make sure you have a size 14mm back wrench with you. locate the flange of your exhaust.

nasa right side near the rear door mo ito. it only have 3 bolts. yun na. you can try to remove it para malaman mo yung feel pag wala yung muffler. kung tutuusin asteeg nga tunog pag wala. you get a low growl from the engine plus pag nag boost iba. ang bilis umangat ng rpm also the turbo whine is more audible even at 1.5K RPM.

ang na notice ko lang at low speed ramdam mo talaga na mas magaan yung takbo. pero pag long distance, may time na pag shift mo ng gear(M/T) parang kulang pa sa bilis.

hirap i explain eh. kasi since mas maluwag na tumakbo halos at 4th gear nasa 80KPH nasa 2k rpm ka palang pa spool palang yung turbo. kaya pag nag 5th gear ka it will go down to 1.8K RPM so medyo parang under gear bigla pero after you step on the gas few sec after ok na uli.

kaya ginagawa ko pinapaspool ko muna yung turbo bago mag shift. nakaka panibago pero once naman nag spool yung turbo ramdam mo yung hatak.

specially kung naka drop in filter ka pa.

I hope na medyo mas tumipid ako sa krudo ngayon. since pag hindi highway driving eh below 2K RPM lang lagi takbo ko at ok na yung speed niya.

I am using Dunlop AT3 tires (245/70/16), got it from a shop at Evangelista for 5900.00 each... medyo madulas lang sya pag hi-speed at basa ang karsada pero hindi naman gaano maingay.. not sure kung meron din ganito sa 17" rims...

Sir Welcome sa thread, Yung President ng club natin naka 265/65R17 A/T Tire on the stock rim ng GLS Mickey thompson medyo mahal nga lang.. Kasi pag 17" yung rim the cheapest yata is around 6.5K.. Try mo din federal tire na A/T yung couragia maganda sya.. may discount kung member ka.. Kaya pa member kana sa friday

Sir, wala naman dapat palitan sa mga pangilalim ng truck mo if ever magpapalit ka ng tires pero kung gusto mo naman tumaas pa yung truck mo pwede mo palift mo na lang. I hope this would help sir...

Boost cut control is available in 2 modules one separately connected to the MAP sensor and the other one is included in the performance chip(PiggyBack system).

Tama yung gawa nyo sir exhaust change is better and cheaper will give you about 5hp of additional power. Just dont go to big 3 inch exhaust pipe is to much a lot of people will argue but that is base on our mods na we tested already.
