Also hindi ko pa pinalis aircon ko... parang hindi na pumapasok yung amoy sa labas. Naiwan ng bagong driver namin bukas yung vent kasi akala nya ata yun yung aircon habang nagdridrive. Nung sinara ko ulit, mga 2 weeks na at hindi ko na nararanasan ang pag pasok ng amuy sa labas. Baka may bumara lang sa vent... For ilang years na kasi, never pa namin binuksan yung airvent hehe HTH

parekoy, well the arrangement with mitsubishi motors and their dealers is that you SHOULD be able to bring your unit to any dealer and the warranty will still be applicable. take note on the should part.

na as far as amcar is concerned, let's wait for the south boys on what they have to say.

by the way, you made a wise choice on your first vehicle purchase!!!

amcar sta, ok lang agahan nga lang ng dala.......mukha naman maayos pero the price is steel a "casa" hahahaha....pero di naman sobra tumaga....

anyway inalis ko na sa casa ang truck ko, now i'm using shell 5w - 40 hx7, ang laki ng difference between turbo xp....imo, mas maganda gamitin tong shell hx7.....thanks parekoy arvin for your advice.......tama ang naging pili ko....kaw na ang shell........... at take note " php 2,089.00" ang ginastos ko....pero me dala ako na filter. i ask the the mechanic na i want to look ng filter na stock nila dun for strada natuwa ako dahil parehong pareho sa filter na galing ke Tp. tinimbang ko pa magkasing bigat sila.......kaya next time dun na din ako magpapa change oil......

Initial Options:
1. Turbo XP Oil (KarAsia-Davao) * 600+/L
2. RP 15W-40 * 500+/L -> I will get it from Manila.
3. Petron REV-X All Terrain (Petron CCC-Davao) 5W-30 * 400+/L

I have not read much on Petron oils. What do you think? Will it be good for our Strada Engines?

You can also give other options(Engine Oil) but I may need to check availability in Davao.

How about Shell Helix Diesel HX7 sir? P300/ltr & widely available din. Caltex Delo Sports at P375/ltr ata. Yung Mobil 1 masyado mahal eh. P800/ltr ata.

There's Motul CRDi specific synthetic oil at Pioneer Trading in DAMOSA. Strada Club members get discount.

guys this monday dadalin ko na sa casa yung strada ko. will change casa from westgate sa citimotors perpetual ko na siya dadalin since mas malapit sa office ko. this will be the last time siguro na ipapacasa ko siya kasi medyo expensive narin eh. siguro next time sa shell customer cradle ko nalang ipapadala.

his due for his 10K KM PMS. though nasa 11.3K KM na ako. no time kasi at madalas ang biyahe.

pag sa casa ba laging prefered oil lang nila ang puwede? gusto ko kasi sana mag iba ng langis. ano ba ang ok na madaling mahanap? yung mga synthetic oil sa mga gas station ok ba? also if ever i will bring my own consumables my additional charge parin ba yun parang corkage fee o labor nalang plus yung ibang gagamitin nila?

also if ever na bibili ako ng oil sa labas ilang liters kelangan? 8L?

my rides engine is 2.5L

parekoy, forget about petron, their oil is too thin/light for our specified weight.. always remember to use a 40 grade oil

AFAIK 6 ltrs lang dalhin mo, and you use trusted brands like caltex delo sports, shell helix diesel,RP or Motul or better if CRDi specific na talaga. HTH

Congrats on your new truck sir, you made the right decision. I've tried AMCAR in Sta Rosa, so far, I have no problems with them or their service. Less cars being serviced there, meaning, faster service.

As people mentioned here, you can get your car serviced at any accredited Mitsubishi dealership, and likewise, have your warrantied at any dealers.

I suggest you buy another 1 liter of the HX7 for the engine....

I'm pretty much sure when you check the dipstick in the morning theres a little lack of oil...that is if you've only put 6 liters on the last oil change...because AFAIK the realistic oil requirement of the 2.5 is 6.5 to 7 liters...

yup basa basa din naman ako dito kung ano usual na ginagamit nila para sa strada nila and since sa labas na ako magpapa PMS gusto ko yung madali mahanap na oil para di paiba iba.

heres the breakdown

Oil helix plus diesel(hx7) P355/1L P2130/6L
oil filter(forgot the brand) P495
engine flush 2pcs P370

Wheel balancing 2 wheels P1060
weights P300
car wash P100
labor P250

total P.5060

Plus nag pa hangin pa uli ako ng Nitro. pang dagdag lang uli.

i think helix diesel is bordering on mineral and semi. my suggestion is change oil at most every 8K kms. a 2K difference will mean a a big difference with engne oils
