Bro, I'm a K&N air filter user, so everytime I do PMS sa Casa, ibinabalik ko lang stock air filter ko para wala silang masabi void or etc.
I also bought K&N 99-5050 Filter Care Service Kit as a recommended cleaner. it compose of 6.5 oz. squeeze bottle Oil, 12 oz. filter cleaner with instruction included on how to use. K&N filters does not void the warranty of our vehicle. Actually there is a sticker included in the box that you should stick where your filter is placed in the engine bay, if I remember correctly it says "This air filter does not void the warranty of your vehicle".

Good morning! Called up Diamond QAve earlier, and talked to Ed Morate(yata, didn't get it clearly). Anyway, I was asking if EGR cleaning service is available and how long, how much this is. He said it will take 2-3 days, as they will take down the intake manifold not only the egr since useless daw kapag ito lang. The cost is about 5,160 (my gulay waw!!!). To those who had cleaned theirs, is this the proper procedure? And cost??? Thanks!

2-3 hours lang ata bro, papalinis kasi ngayon si bossing ng egr nya..

500 lang charge ng casa, confirm na lang natin kay bossing jashty

sir traker under warranty pa ba ang ride mo grabe naman ang charges nila and besides this will not take 2-3 days ano yan overhaul dont know much about this,my egr cleaning 2-3hrs lang kasama pa ang PMS service i was watching nuon tinatanggal nila yung EGR saka nilinis kaya nakunan ko ng pics

2-3 hours lang ang EGR cleaning sa Diamond Q Ave pero sa 'express lane' yun for TSCP members hehehe... and kung under warranty pa, gratis lang... tapos may iced tea pa... but wait, there's more... dun pa kami pinapaupo sa loob mismo ng office ng Service Manager... ahh, the unwritten perks of being a TSCP member hehehe... may isang member pa nga kinuha yung strada niya sa bahay niya then delivered ulit right infront of his doorstep... so far, satisfied ako sa service nila

Thanks all for the quick response. I guess marketing ploy lang nila to generate income kasi before sa diamond fairview ganyan na rin ang sinabi nung isang SA dun, kesyo kailangan daw ibaba manifold, linisin din yung plenum, etc. I'l try to approach sina Mr Talagtag o si Mr Paragas baka may latak pa magic, hehe... Got K&N filter pala yesterday from Mikko....

Naka-sched ako sa kanila ng clean EGR at repaint left side ng bumper ko.

requested the following:

1. loss of power - reco: replace scv (under warranty, order in progress)
2. squeaking noise - aligned rear leaf spring

on item 1, i experienced loss of power a few times only between my 10k and 15k. afterwards i seldom sense loss of power. after reading most of the threads regarding our scv, i decided to have my unit checked for loss of power. the technician said that the diagnosis immediately showed that the scv is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Masisira ang delicate oiled cotton fibers ng K&N pag pinabugahan ng compressed air, sir. Kung maubos na yung cleaning solution (usually mas una tong maubos compared sa recharger oil), pwede 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid sa bucket of clean water tapos i-submerge ang drop-in K&N filter for 30mins tapos buhusan ng malinis na tubig gamit ng tabo (not running water from faucet) tapos ipa-air dry, away from sunlight (pwede to overnight). If already dry, pwede na i-spray ng recharger oil.

So those planning to get Motul from Autoplus, better call first to check if available na before going there para di masayang biyahe nyo.
