question lang maga gurus.

just got my glx mt last thusday, so break in perid pa lang.

pwede bang magdala sa casa ng parts and supplies like oil and filters? Mas makaka save ba if I buy it directly sa mga authorized mitsubishi parts dealers like sa megamall?

btw what's the usual fuel consumption ng GLX MT? Whats your idle rpm with aircon ON and OFF? Mine is around 900 rpm- aircon ON and 700 rpm aircon OFF

Puede ka magdala ng sarili mong parts and supplies. Kanina lang nagpa 10K PMS ako. I brought my own oil instead of using the casa's Turbo XP oil which is more expensive. Sana lang yung langis ko ang ilagay nila at hindi yung langis nila at ibalik ang sobra sakin.. hehehe

Regarding the fuel consumption, mine is almost 9-10 km/L city driving minsan naglalaro sa 8.5 pag feel ko humarabas or kapag naiipit ako traffic sa Eastwood.

Sir, yung Batt Solution tingin ko e yung distilled water na nilalagay sa battery.

tama ka dito bro... kung maintenance free ang battery nyo, walang ganitong charge

[SIZE=3]Speaking of which...reminder pala sa mga strada owners...hindi Maintenance Free Battery ang kasama ng units natin...so its best to check the battery solution level from time to time and to top it up with distilled water...kahit nagkalat na ang Maintenance Free batteries, di-tubig pa din ang stock....I learned the hard way.

BTW, I brought my truck in for its 30k periodic maintenance...the Caltex Xp Turbo is now P680 per liter na daw...the estimate given to me was almost Php10k (ouch!).

Tama ba yung observation I read that our trucks have the most expensive Casa maintenance cost?

Tanong ko lang mga master, sa tuwing nadadaan ako ng may humps may parang nalalaglag sa may rear right side ata ng strada ko. Ano kaya to? Very worried kasi ramdam ko sa clutch yung at may tugsshhh na sound lagi. hindi kaya transmission to? I can't say kung ano problema nito eh.

your not using motul pa rn ba? anyway....sobrang pricey naman ng turbo XP ngayun grabe..... totally not worth it....I forward ko po sainyu yung supplier natin ng motul in case you want to change oil brands ...quite cheaper than XP but a lot better in performance....

P680? Ouch. Mahal nga. Magpalit ka na lang oil. Yung sakin mura lang. Royal Purple 15w40. Sabi nila magandang klase raw 'to. Binasa ko rin yung thread about this oil and puro positive naman yung feedback. Ngayon, mas tumahimik yung makina specially pag idle. Dati ang idle ko eh 700++rpm ngayon 600++rpm na lang. Di ko alam kung may kinalaman 'to dun sa oil or dahil sa 10PMS na ginawa. Mas humina rin yung engine break. Smooth na yung pag down shift ko. Di tulad nung dati na pag down shift ko, pag bitaw ng clutch napapa subsob kami. Di ko lang alam kung totoo yung claim nila na may increase in horse power. Yung fuel consumption mate-test ko pa lang this week kasi magpapa full tank na ko malapit na. Hehehe.

muhkang mahal ang maintenance ng Strada vs other pickup sir.

regarding maintenance and maintenance free, sa akin it doesnt really matter. they are almost the same

* Av8r5 - sir ral, I meant checking the battery solution. I got used to MF batteries that I forgot to check my truck's battery...the only time I was reminded was when I noticed that the engine had a hard time starting. When I checked, the battery plates were already exposed.

Got mine from XTO, also a member of this forum. Kumuha ko sa kanya 8 quarts and may sobra pa na halos 1 quarts nung nag change oil ako. So may magagamit ako na pang top-up sa susunod na PMS ko.
