Ah, ganun ba? Bakit kaya di ito sinasabi ng Mitsu Service Centers? They keep changing the oil filters every 5,000 km even if one is using synthetic oil.
Hmmm.... I'll try to raise this issue with my service center on my next PMS.
Salamat po, sir Walter.
Any comment, BOSBs?

hmmmmm i think that is one thing that i have forgotten to inform the bosb's using fully synth oil.
the original filters are rated to be changed every 10K km, considering that you are using fully synthetic oil.
do not bother bringing up this issue with your SA's or casa's, gagawa lang sila ng palusot o dahilan para maikutan yun. because basically it is just a suggestion/recommendation from the producers of the filter.
personally i change my filter every 10k now, at the same time with my oil change, the filter weighs heavier(for obvious reasons) that what it does when changed every 5K
BTW: My unit is confined there for grinding clutch problem, according to SA, hindi daw release bearing but the clucth itself, may tama daw mga bearings nung disc (eto yata yung mga spring na nakapalibot sa disc)... Good thing underwarranty pa unit ko...
will post the parts cost pag release ng unit ko...
Bro, parang kay sir alainroyce at LR ko yata to nalaman. During my 40K PMS kanina, tinanggal nila yung EGR assembly, tapos linis para matanggal ang carbon deposits (pero tingin ko malinis pa naman). Hehe. Linis tubo, kumbaga... Mahal lang ang labor, P2,500. Although di sya nakasulat sa Heavy Check-up ng PMS brochure.

kimo gano katanda na yung unit mo? medyo ilaban mo yung pag cover nila ng warranty para diyan if your unit is under 1 year old. wang clutch disc hindi mo kaya sirain under 1 year unless clutch rider ka, tapos pag ganun ka yung linning ang mauubos hindi yung mga vibration springs... medyo ilinaw mo muna sa mga yan kung ano talaga yung mga problema na pinag sasabi nila, baka binubull **** ka na ng mga yan
regarding sa mga EGR, ang malakas magkaroon ng carbon deposits dito ay yung mga panay city driving na minimal ang high rev and high speed. if you do long distance driving i.e. 50km minimum at 2800-3000rpm for more than an hour, daily, hindi masyado magiging issue ang carbon build up sa mga egr. basta expect it to be common if you're usually into the low speed short distance short time category. actually kahit sa mga trucks at heavy equipment ganun din, mas nagiging mausok pa yung makina with added oil na lalabas sa mga exhaust pipe.
