same lang kaya ang cost ng 40k pms ng 3.2 sa 2.5 if you put the oil out of the break down?

I had my 40k PMS kahapon..

I didn't spend much on it considering the heavy checkup was done earlier

however, may nakitang crack on one of the engine belts...and need to change my break pads narin...pati decarbinizing ng EGR hinde pa nagagawa because kapos na daw sa oras and wala silang stock nung break pad...


qeustion ko is Covered kaya ng warranty yung drive belts? nakalimutan kong itanong kasi hehe...

boss lr777, tingin ko hindi sya kasama sa warranty, alam ko classified sya under the same group of the brake pads, yung wear and tear something ba yun, kaya tingin ko hindi sya covered ng warranty.

yupyupyup LR, basta yung mga wear itms like belts, brakes, clutch linings, hoses and bearings mga wear items lahat yun.. actually basta moving parts considered as wear items..

inde bro...yung SCV stands for suction control valve....yun yung pinapalitan pag nakapag pakarga ka ng dirty fuel...

nun nagpa-1k PMS ako nang Strada ko sa Diamond Marcos Hi-way sinabi ko sa service agent gusto ko mineral oil muna gamitin ang sabi ba naman nun matanda eh hindi daw pwede. synthetic daw dapat yun daw ang memo nang planta.

sabi ko bakit yun mga kakilala ko puro mineral lang sila. sabi ba naman sa akin ako daw bahala puwede daw yun mineral oil pero wala na daw sa warranty yun. tinakot pa ako. pinagbigyan ko na lang.

pangalan niya ariel tragura. kala ko pa naman ok sa marcos hiway.

tama yung sinabi ng diamond motors sir... i saw the memo from the plant recommending the use of synthetic oils for their new crdi engines because of the added protection being given ng synthetic... come to think of it mas nakakatipid ka pa when you use synthetic oils... almost all of the club members are using synthetic oils, wala naman naging adverse effect so better be on the safe side

yung mga tanung tungkol sa mga oil changes medyo napapadalas na naman uli ah....

mga mods, bakapwede tayo gumawa ng sticky para sa mga oil changes under the pms, para mas madali mahanap ng mga readers yung discussions tungkol dito...

low powered and low response minsan daw mamatay yung engine.....pag medyo madumi talaga yung diesel....uusok yung strada na parang ToooToooT.....kamuka ng nangyari kay bigblock....

kaya ingat talaga tayo sa mga gas stations na pinagpapakargahan natin...

problem ng scv nagloloss power ang strada ..
bitin yung power, around 2000-2500 rpm siya umeepekto
pag press mo ng pedal around that rpm, walang reaction ang engine
di naman sa naghihingalo pero surge down ang epekto..

i think me advantage ang fully synthetic, like mine yesterday...
it will not form any sludge on our engines and produce better mileage..
and when i checked the used fully synthetic oil, its not that thick as i expected..

pag synthetic naman gagamitin mo, every 10k kms ang change oil, oil filter lang ang papalitan every 5k 5kms. its just the same cost using mineral oil, but you got better oil than using mineral..
