And to think that they'll be entering the season without 5 key players particularly Evan Nelle and Mark Nonoy. Topex is doing an absolutely excellent job in running the program.

'lang hiya hinahanap ko ito pero kelangan din pala umalis. oh well, the falcons will get somebody who is very serviceable in the paint.

Ang nabalitaan ko is malayo raw talaga yung QPI.

In ADMU, if ALL your subjects are a "D" you will definitely not meet the QPI and can still get kicked out. However, since you technically didn't fail any subject (D means you passed), your chances of getting an appeal are quite high. If the appeal gets accepted, you're be on probation for a year and will need to score even higher than the minimum QPI requirement. Athletes are then put on a rigorous tutoring program to get their grades to a more satisfactory "C" or better.

This probably means Demisana really didn't have a chance, especially since the QPI requirement actually gets HIGHER in your sophomore year.

I thought he was quite smart since he came from UPIS right?

Parang before when these 7 players (including CJ Perez & Jerie Pinggoy) weren't able to play for Ateneo or transferred to another school because of their grades. I think they were dubbed the Genius 7 hehe.

Ateneo players in danger of missing academic cut recruited by other schools

ah so hindi pala siya same case ni thirdy ravena. thirdy was almost a qpi casualty but he reportedly made a good letter of appeal and therefore made a good case for himself. buti na lang he made good use of his second chance and well...the rest is history , as they say.

pero sayang si demisana. i like his game. he would've been a very decent rotation player. i bet he's going to soar in san marcelino. good luck na lang to the kid.

dlsu pala ang mag represent sa pinas sa world university basketball series tournament especially when they go up against the japanese upstarts and the taiwanese defending champs.

highly touted rookie jared bahay seems to be emerging from his adjustment limbo. brit sourced recruit femi edu was lost out there but understandably so coming from football crazy uk and all that. sam reyes from ust high looks to be a potential worth watching. there's another newbie who i'm not familiar with pero mukhang buo ang loob.

i think mid-september ang start ng uaap.

the blue eagles defeated the ue red warriors to crown themselves champs of the fjcu cup in Taiwan.

maganda nilaro ni tuano at ni bongo. si ong parang maganda din ang improvement. masipag na gumalaw pero medyo awkward. i guess being relegated to the farm team last season has spurred him to improve himself.

i wonder if there's anything wrong w/ the fsa of ateneo. wala pa din sighting ata since the last tournament they joined. come to think of it, parang wala ding fsa iyong ue kaso pero puro fil-am na mga athletic majority na pinasok nila kanina.

Fifteen years old at 6'6", Ranidel de Ocampo Jr (RDO's kid), has just enrolled at Ateneo de Manila for senior high.

He's a volleyball player. I'm thinking he will probably play basketball too at some point but there's no telling how good he is or will be.

junior already played for the ateneo boys' basketball team. he probably wants to do something different when he makes the short walk to the ahs facilities.

or maybe, as mentioned previously, he wants to be a 2 sport athlete in senior high .

panalo ang dlsu vs the defending champs nccu of taiwan sa wubs. the taft men will enter the finals and will face the winner of the korea university - university of Sydney tiff.

tinambakan na ng green archers iyong mga Taiwanese pero nakahabol sila to force an ot. it was a tense game w/ both camps playing physical ball.

ayuz din iyong nccu nag-dala pa talaga ng cheer leading contingent gaya sa uaap at ncaa natin. nag-perform din sila during the half-time break. at halos 1/4 ng stands na puno din nila. talagang pinag-handaan nila this year ang pariticipation nila.

bago ba iyong pg ng dlsu na si ramiro? parang 1st time ko siya nakita mag-laro. masyado fancy fancy minsan to the detriment of the team. iyong import naman nila na si agunane medyo raw pa. akala ko polished na kasi naka 2 years din ata iyon sa ceu + red shirt stint niya last season under coach topex.

as usual, si quiambao ang batak na talaga. he's no doubt the main man of the uaap next season. si mike phillips kayod marino talaga. both of them held the fort when the taiwanese were incessently attacking their diminishing lead.

dlsu is now the king of the wubs. tinambakan nila korea university.

i'm impressed w/ the marasigan kid. he's a solid and no frills kind of player. i'm not sure if he's going to be playing this season but he's one to watch out for.

The ace PG of the Korean team made a three-pointer to close out the 3rd quarter and immediately did the "night-night" Steph Curry pose.

What's funny was that DLSU was still leading even after he shot the three. DLSU then went on to win by a huge margin.
