I used to own a pair of Kaypees nung elementary ako. I can still remember the TV ads featuring local basketball players, with the tagline "Play it beautiful -- Kaypee."
Mighty Kid, wala ba sa poll?

For basketball, Nike. For running, Nike or Adidas. For sneakers, Puma, the most comfortable shoes for walking in my opinion.

pang-gym: New Balance (malambot kasi sa paa. and suitable enough traction for cardio)
Basketball: Nike
I've been meaning to get puma kahit panglakad man lang.

i actually wrote this review last week and posted it at some egroup sites, my current shoe mileage now is around 60-65k, have more additional inputs but will do another complete review at 300k
--Been wanting to write a good shoe review for sometime, I missed out
on my 901's since I never really paid attention nor realized how
good they were till I tested Mizuno's, but to do justice to the
shoe, I wrote this after running it for 35k, way beyond the break-in
mileage. Funny how the precision wasn't really in my next shoe
list, it was listed under "all others not worth mentioning".
Well, after trying out the creation7-running, jumping, striding
around the mizuno shop, the midfoot to forefoot area just didn't had
enough cushioning while the heel had too much. I'm not saying the
Creation is a bad shoe, it might feel different on another person,
it's just that after logging in more than 800k on my 901's I'm used
to its low profile heel feel--less heel cushioning, more on mid-
forefoot cushioning.
Mileage per week: 45-50k
Weight: 132lbs
Foot type: neutral, slightly overpronated
Previous shoes: newbalance 901, asics Trabuco 9, asics gel cumulus,
nike Pegasus
Shoe bought: Mizuno Precision7
Bought where: Mizuno shop club650
Pice: P4,295
Size: 10 us
Color: white/navy blue
Classification: neutral, for normal to high arch foot types
Design/style
I'm not really big on mizuno designs, they're flashy, looks heavy
and the shape somehow reminds me of barges. The precision is no
exception, with its semi reflector silver and blue linings, the shoe
is designed to be noticed. Fortunately the silver/white/blue color
combination counter effect its `on-show' design giving it a slight
conservative look. The heel profile is low only about 3-5mm higher
than the 901, feels light too (of course we cannot differentiate
accurately if less than 300g weight difference by hand), although
admittedly the Wave heel design of the Creation looks cooler, but no
matter, overall, the Precision7's style and design is not bad and
now growing on me. Did I mention the Precision8 is just really
fugly?
Run feel/comfort
Mizuno's sizing is smaller, I use 9 1/5 for my regular running shoes
but I ended up getting a size 10 for the precision, initial
impression is that the Precision is for those with wide feet as
forefoot width area is ample. Midfoot to forefoot area cushioning
is great, as well as for the heel. Shoe laces are a bit too long
but I'm just nitpicking. Running the Precision for the first 30min,
my medial front shin muscle screamed lactic acid; maybe these aren't
as light as what I thought them to be.
With the carbon rubber heel, traction is stick-on, it really feels
like I'm running with suction pads under the heels, nothing bad
about it my only concern is that the stickier the rubber, the faster
it'll wear out. Ground feedback isn't also what I expected them to
be, on the 901's it feels like you're running on cushioned ninja
shoes. The 3-5mm thicker outsole makes a big difference. No doubt
the Precision will be better on long mileage runs due to more
cushioning but for 10k sprints the 901 will leave it in dust. With
Mizuno's patented AIRmesh design, midfoot and forefoot area is
comfortable and keeps shoe flexibility high. My only gripe is that
there should've been more lateral support for normal width foot
types.
Durability
Since I only got the shoes last week, everything seems to be holding
up fine, with a few normal creases on the front reflector strips.
Will follow up on another review on the Precision's durability after
300km.
Saw the 901 on sale hmm pretty tempting…
Before the power run both filters are already primed so pre-fill should no longer be an issue, but...
