even if i wasn't a mavs fan, and although i think cuban should close his trap some times, i still like the idea of having a fan as an owner. at least you know he cares about the team and not just how much money he's going to make. i mean, how many players out there can talk to the team owner and bump chests w/ them?

an ganda ng MAVS-SUNS game... too bad tho for dirk chokewitzki

amare is simply unstoppable with that high pick n roll with nash.

nash with 30+ pts, 16 assist. wow! amare 41pts 10 rebs... grabe. great game!

^^^ to me, nowitzki is still the front running mvp candidate though he must prove it during big time games! at crunch time his FT cost them for the nth time a reminiscent of last year finals
buti pa ang heat they are silently creeping to the top of eastern conf standing w/o dwade.

speaking of defense, the motor city bad boys did a number on the suns tonight. hopefully, letdown lang yan sa last game nila with the mavs.

dirk is still clutch but what i noticed (or lack of) is Howard he was just nowhere to be found the latter stage of the game...

ayaw na mag FT ni dirk in the last play, he should have baited for a foul lalo na he's defender was up in the air... tsk tsk

oh, i totally agree. it's great to have an owner that cares passionately about his team and tries his very best to put the best possible team on the floor for his customers (the fans)

but i still hate him because he's annoying :hit:

    Ainge fined $30,000
    March 18, 2007

BOSTON (AP) -- The Boston Celtics confirmed Sunday that the team had been fined $30,000 by the NBA for excessive contact with the family of Texas star freshman and likely lottery draft pick Kevin Durant.
General manager Danny Ainge sat next to Durant's mother during the Big 12 tournament. The league said Ainge violated rules demanding that contact be kept to a minimum between team executives and potential NBA draft picks, until college players officially declare for the draft.
Sports Illustrated first reported the story on its Web site. Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said Ainge is on the road scouting players and he did not offer specifics of the fine. The Celtics won in San Antonio for the first time in 17 years Saturday, topping the Spurs 91-85. At 20-46 on the year, the team has the league's second-worst record behind the Memphis Grizzlies.
