First game = hindi sadya nung tinamaan ni malcolm white si iglesia ni christiu. Eh itong si fake tough guy na ito gusto gumanti. Nagbigay ng cheap shot hindi tinawagan referee. Si bangkay alamazan nagcheap shot din nabulag ang referee.

2nd game - foul dapat si jean garcia so 6th foul na. Kaso natakot referee kay alfranics baka masigawan.

Kaya kayo mga kadamay fans. Wag nyo isisi sa standhay trade bakit bumagsak gate attendance. Its all about alfrancis.

Alam nyo ayaw ko din si noli "ungga" eayala dahil naglopsided din yan, remember the hatfield, reavis and mamaril trade for kalani fereiria, alan salansang and hindi ko maalala sino pa mga hinayupak kasama sa trade na yan. Pero kahit papaano nung panahon ni eayala eh hindi ganito lutuan mga tawag referee.

^ oo sa dumaguete city ang out of town game ng Alaska at San Miguel last Saturday. Although hindi ko napanood, kaunti daw ang nanood. upcoming pa ang all star games nila this week, sa Davao del Sur, Batangas, and Iloilo

OT: Yung mga laro lang kahapon ng PVL Volleyball ang almost full house becuase partly sa hometown hero Alyssa Valdez, in which her team played yesterday. Before the games this past weekend, under fire ang ABS-CBN S&A and PVL because hindi nila pinapalabas ang games after the opening of the conference (puro livestream na sila after, no games shown on TV until last Saturday)

RAYMOND Almazan leads a big group of players who face sanctions in the wake of Rain or Shine's 96-90 win over GlobalPort in a hot-tempered PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Sunday night.

But it's the referees who face the biggest punishment.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said he will summon a number of players in the wake of a highly physical game that saw Kelly Nabong shove Maverick Ahanmisi, Malcolm White hit Chris Tiu with an elbow, and Almazan deliver a cheap shot on White in retaliation.

"Ipapatawag ko sila lahat, but after the All-Star (games) na," Marcial told SPIN.ph on Monday. "But if I get the chance to talk to them during the All-Star festivities, kausapin ko na rin sila."

Marcial, however, was most disappointed with the three referees who worked the game and failed to call a flagrant foul - at the very least - on Almazan after the gangling Rain or Shine slotman delivered an elbow to White's face late in the second half.

Almazan later insulted White with his gestures and their feud extended to the hallway leading to the dugouts, where they challenged each other to a fight.

The former Letran standout later admitted he was only standing off for teammate Tiu, who suffered a busted lip that needed stiches after getting hit with a White elbow.

Asked about the elbow, Marcial said the league technical committee is still assessing if it was intentional or not.

“Pisikal ‘yung game eh, siya naman nag-start ng ganun. Start ng game, gusto ko siya i-hand shake, sabi niya, don’t shake my hand. Walang problema," Almazan said.

“Pero ‘yung ginawa niya kay Chris, siyempre hindi naman namin pababayaan ‘yung teammate namin. Hindi kami ganun klaseng player na magba-back down sa ganun,” said Almazan.

“Lagi kaming nasa likod ng isa’t isa. Siguro part of the game lang ‘yun.”

The trash talking spilled over into the hallway of the Smart-Araneta Coliseum several minutes after the game, but cooler heads prevailed before the situation could get worse.

“Parang sabi niya sa akin, ‘C’mon now.’ Sabi ko, ‘It’s up to you, man.’ Wala sa akin ‘yun. Sa kanya na lang ‘yun. Hindi naman ako aatras sa kanya,” said Almazan.

I remember for a time, the old defunct mba was enough of a threat to the pba's popularity to the point they were maligning each other but those were different times.

Mababa na nga ang viewership ng pba tapos may liga pa ang abs-cbn na mukhang dinudumog din maski has beens and di kilala mga players. Alam naman natin magaling mag market ang abscbn

MBA had stars to begin with. Willy Miller, dondon, aducol, etc. Kaya lang, they grew too fast and napirate yung mga stars nila. Kinalaban din kasi nila pba kaagad. At least tong mbpl, mga has beens or mga di mabigyan nang playing time sa pba kaya no direct threat sa other leagues (pba, pba dleague, abl) So malaki chance na mag survive tong league na ito.

As long as salary is not that high, susunod lang sa paglaki ng sponsorship at huwag nga kalabanin PBA as the premier league tingin ko okay yan.
