    ...kapag pinawisan?

    after gym, workout? basta pagod ka at pinawisan.

    may kasabihan kasi yung matatanda di ba na baka mapulmunya (tama ba?),
    kaya punasan muna ang pawis at magpahinga. kaso bakit yung mga players (basketball, boxers, etc.) after ng match/ game... straight to shower agad.

    any difference hot and cold water?

    bai di siya masama. as long quick lang siya. actually sabi ng friend ko na physician, wala medical explanation for pasma. Quick shower is meant to rinse away the sweat and cool down the body. Ako after a badminton game, I shower. Mas maganda pag lukewarm water.

    Kasabihan yan sa Pilipinas kasi bihira ang may hot water (heater) sa Pilipinas. Pasma usually happens when tired muscles/joints/nerves receive sudden thermal shock (biglang buhos ng malamig na tubig). You might even get pneumonia (na-pulmon) if water condenses inside your lungs due to the sudden change in temperature.

    If you shower with hot (or lukewarm) water, you should be fine.

    me writeup dati sa inquirer about this...allegedly me babae daw nag cold shower after mag gym, and went temporarily blind.

    as mentioned above, tingin ko it's because of the sudden change in temperature -- nasha shock ung system mo kumbaga. the water may not be that cold, but relative to current body temperature, it may already be considered freezing.

    sa chinese kasi, kung hindi man immediate ung effects, sa long term mo mararamdaman ang effects nyan sa mga muscles/joints. kung gusto mo talaga mawala ung lagkit ng pawis, use hot/lukewarm water na lang just to be sure

    hhmmm... wala pala akong dapat alalahanin. at least lukewarm na lang.

    pag may monthly visitor ang babae di pwede maligo....
    pero d na cguro tutuo ito ..mahirap pumasok sa office pag di ka naligo ..hehehe

    baka nga siguro cold. kakatakot naman to.

    eto yung nakakatakot...long term, so sa ngayon di pa natin nararamdaman.

    on the contrary di ba pag inaapoy ng lagnat ang isang tao, di ba yung emergency treatment is to put the sick person sa tub with ice para bumaba yung body temperature. I've tried showering cold water (pag wala hot shower available) after a game pero mabilis lang. Sanayan lang siguro.

    Actually, pag may lagnat naman, nag-o-overheat na yung katawan and it may lead to convulsion kaya pinapa-baba naman yung body temperature. Saka isa pa, pag may lagnat ka, most likely your muscles/joints/nerves are not as stressed compared with kung nag-workout ka, or badminton, or nag-bat_ ka.
