For the gun fanatics. May idea ba kayo how much an M-16 armalite costs nowadays? Magkano din lisensya?
We are currently renting armalite units for P3,200 each per month and we want to compare it vs buying our own.
Thanks.

im not sure pero the last time I inquired from my gunrunner a couple of years ago, it would cost me about 250k per unit brand new original colt. no accessories yan saka im not sure about the license. about the license, try mo sa pinoyguns, alam ko you need approval from a general to avail a license for a high powered rifle, also civilians yata are only allowed to own pistolized rifles, meaning no full auto.
pero sa pinoyguns forums meron ako nakikita nagbebenta ng original colt daw for about 40-70 k per unit. not sure lang about internals and license. By the way sir are you running a security agency?
Please be wary also sa mga nagbebenta ng rifles since mahirap mag-acquire nito legally and most of the units are issued by the government at binebenta lang ng mga na-issuehan nito
top rank general lang ang pede mag-allow or give permit to import.
the license is another thing, security agencies can carry pero civilians hindi pede. the highest power you can get with a license are shotguns (merun mga semi-auto versions...I mean quicker to fire pero as much as P500k yun). Sports shotguns (yung pang clay shooting) are more expensive than those high powered guns.
Some gun store owners and members from PinoyGuns forum quoted me about 40k + 6k(licensing) for AK47. They also sell M14 too. I assume the M16 will be in the same price range. Nagtanong kasi ako dahil gusto rin naming bumili ng extra baril pang-security sa maliit na piggery/farm namin. The guys mentioned stores like Twin Pines and Casa Armas.
Its actually for our security guards sa site. We are currently renting M16s kasi eh. Mukhang my boss is weighing renting vs. owning, kung ano syempre ang mas mura.
Nagtanung tanung ako. We can purchase one for 60k pero 2nd hand yun. 15k ang licensing. Brand new nga is around 200k and PNP lang daw ang pwedeng makabili ng bnew.
Tama ba?
If it's just for security guards, you can get away with a good condition 2nd hand. It can only be assumed they won't be treated very well when it comes to maintenance, so why give them 200k original units? Also, I guess you'd have to weigh the reasons why they would have to carry m16's as opposed to standard issue riot shotguns and revolvers: Is what they are guarding such high value and sensitive items that they would need the high powered reach of a .223 round? My friend's security firm recalled all issue m16's because one of their employees fired one shot and the round went through 2 houses and injured a sleeping maid.
Gusto kong mag hire pero paano? pwede bang dalhin sa firing range without license?
Syempre HINDI! unless licensed yung FA with PTC or PTT.
Bought our Bushmaster "infant" 5.56 with 7" barrel last year. Costs 150k with license and additional 30K(?) for the PTC.
Yung M4A1 naman na Standard version (naka rail, straight from U.S)
cost 110k unit alone. + license and PTC around 30-40k.
