Flu vaccine: is it necessary?

i don't get any more/less sick when i have flu vaccine. parang useless din

but it might be useful if you have weak immune system

It's good for the aged / elderly ... there are so many strains of flu virus ... every year they need to update the vaccine ...

Once ko lang natry magpa FLU Vaccine. After that di ko na inulit. nagka trangkaso kasi ako. hahaha.. 7 days ako hindi makabangot after ko nagpa-inject ng vaccine.

AFAIK from my doctors, there are many kinds of flu viruses. Every year, medical companies anticipate which strains will crop up within the year, then input this into their vaccines. If you get one of these strains, then you're covered. But if its not on the list, sorry.

In my x years of annual flu vaccine, I have not caught flu.

The flu vaccine works but it is an inconvenience for the few that get sick immediately after.

The problem is that, oftentimes, many people do not understand the science (thank you educational system of the Philippines) and rely on what their friends (or social media) tell them.

Given that pinoys are bandwagoneers at heart, if they hear anything negative about it then they will simply dismiss it.
