Tumataas ang population. Pero unti unti nang bumababa ang fertility rate ng mundo natin. It's already been projected na by 2100, mayroong 11.2 billion na katao sa mundo natin. Instead na sabihin mong "you could've fooled me". Please do some research and try to see the bigger picture. I've done mine on my social science class years ago.

Year - Population ; to summarize
    1900 - 1.6b
    2000 - 6b-6.5b
    Projected
    2100 - 11.2b

    you read about it.
    that's nice.

well... i've been living it, seeing it evolve, this past half-a-century.

but i think i see where our dis-agreement lies.
you see, ... i remember where we came from.
you, on the other hand, ... are predicting where we're going.

Projected using stats & datas. Includes no humourous comment so sadly, no aliens.

Worst flu season of the decade in the US AU and EU? Possibly Worldwide

CDC: Flu Hammering Country, With More to Come

Our DOH has yet to release their findings(I wonder if they even worked on this), They have yet to issue a warning.

They've never been known to be proactive.

Like colds, there are so many strains of flu viruses. The ones being offered every season are those for strains w/c physicians predict will be the most likely to be prevalent for the season.

I don't get it. We've been getting the flu since we learned how to walk and getting well in a few days or so. It's so common that nobody cared because we do get well eventually. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, there so much hype of the flu vaccine in "American" media.

Is there a world epidemic of some sort? Maybe, I missed the WHO announcement?

Viruses evolve too and turn into other strains. Some are getting more dangerous.
The vaccine can help lessen episodes of flu for the entire year thus making you more productive and healthier

I see no point taking the flu vaccine because it's a hit and miss. You will still get the flu if it's a different strain and your body is still going to get well, right? It's pointless. In the last 10 years, I rarely get the flu. If I ever get it, there's no fever, only feeling fatigued and some muscle aches. I'll be ok within a few days. I noticed that lack of sleep, stress, over exercising and eating junk food, I'll catch the flu much easier.

I think people with compromised immune system, have underlying illness, COPD, TB, should get the flu shot. Otherwise, it's basically pointless taking something that your body is capable of handling.

I just hate the American media pushing the vaccine to everyone, even if you don't need it. They resort to scare tactics, like taking a patient with the worst condition possible and show it to the public that this will happen to you if you don't get the flu shot. It's like making a sales pitch for the pharmaceutical industry.

Not going to fall for this b.s.

Just because you do not believe in it does not mean it is b.s. already or pointless.

That is just being arrogant and pretentious. Afterall, prevention is better than cure. If you can afford it, why not. But that does not mean those who availed of vaccinations are gullible. Some of them are really intelligent people and some are doctors as well.

Kanya-kanyang decision lang yan. To each his own. No need for inflammatory words. Kaya minsan umiinit board eh.

SInce nagkamalay ako ay never pa ako nababakunahan or nahospital. Simple na lagnat, sipon or ubo lang sa akin or minsan sa allergy. Hindi ko na kailangan vaccine siguro.

i also do not remember what vaccinations i got, before age 6.

    herd immunity.
'tis what non-vaccinated people enjoy, swimming amidst a population of vaccinated people.

Twice kami as a family nag avail ng flu vaccine...but after those 2 shots di na kami umulit. Its not because of the cost, cost is really very affordable, but for the reason na parating may new flu strain na lumalabas kaya we just build up on our immune system via vitamins (mangosteen, ampala, moringga, vco capsules).
