"DeSagana Diop had three blocks in the Mavericks' loss Wednesday to the Knicks, but missed his only field goal attempt and had zero points, resulting in one of the more strangely impressive statistical oddities in recent memory – he has actually totaled more blocked shots so far this season (72) than points (71). Diop currently is 14th in the league in blocked shots per game (2.0) and 359th in points per game (1.97). If he happens to be on your squad, I would suggest a strategy of handcuffing both Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson to him."
Injury Report
Emeka Okafor (FC, Charlotte) – The results of a Tuesday MRI on Okafor's right ankle have not yet been released – doctors are comparing the latest results to previous exams before releasing a diagnosis, according to The Charlotte Observer.
Brevin Knight (PG, Charlotte) – Knight was only able to play 11 minutes in Wednesday night's loss to Toronto because of back pain – he is considered day-to-day at this point.
Marquis Daniels (GF, Dallas) – Daniels is expected to miss two weeks with a strained neck that has been slow to heal. The injury originally occurred on December 15.
Marcus Camby (C, Denver) – Camby has not yet been given a timetable for his return from finger surgery, but according to the Rocky Mountain News, he is hopeful that he can return before the end of January.
Tracy McGrady (GF, Houston) – McGrady's latest bout with back spasms have forced him to miss the past two games – he is due to be re-evaluated on Friday, but, according to the Houston Chronicle, is "almost certain" to miss time beyond that.
Yao Ming (C, Houston) – According to the Associated Press, Yao has begun testing his foot in workouts and expects to be able to return to action in around two weeks.
Stromile Swift (FC, Houston) – Swift has missed two games while recovering from a corneal abrasion and is considered day-to-day.
Jamaal Tinsley (PG, Indiana) – Tinsley continues to be sidelined with a torn biceps muscle, but is likely to return to the lineup for this weekend's games.
Elton Brand (PF, LA Clippers) – Brand missed Tuesday's game with a bruised hip, but according to the Los Angeles Times coach Mike Dunleavy expects him to be back in the lineup for the Clippers' next game on Saturday.
Corey Maggette (GF, LA Clippers) – According to The Orange County Register, Maggette will miss at least six more weeks with a torn ligament in his left foot, and if he elects to have surgery would miss the rest of the season.
Richard Jefferson (SF, New Jersey) – Jefferson continues to be bothered by a sore back, but hopes to return for the Nets' next game on Friday.
Grant Hill (SF, Orlando) – Hill has twice in the past week aggravated the area of his lower abdomen on which he had preseason surgery according to floridatoday.com, and coach Brian Hill has said there is no timetable on his return, and the team will evaluate him on "a day-to-day basis."
Lineup Changes
Hedo Turkoglu replaced Jameer Nelson in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but Nelson played 35 minutes and scored a career-high 32 points. Nelson should continue to be the major beneficiary of playing time in Grant Hill's absence … Bernard Robinson has been starting for the Bobcats in place of Emeka Okafor, but is merely a place-holder, as the Bobcats have a number of big men sidelined … Eduardo Najera has seen his role increase in recent games, and is worth a look in deep leagues on teams needing defensive numbers … Jamal Crawford has not been starting, but has played at least 30 minutes in eight consecutive games, scoring 24 points or more in five of those contests … Raymond Felton has started three consecutive games while Brevin Knight has dealt with back spasms … Sebastian Telfair has come off the bench for the past two games, his first game action in three weeks, with Steve Blake continuing to get the starts … David Lee's starting spot still appears to be "guaranteed," but he has totaled just 24 minutes in the past two games … Anthony Johnson has been starting in favor of Sarunas Jasikevicius during Jamaal Tinsley's most recent inactive streak … Othella Harrington has started four consecutive games at center for the Bulls while Tyson Chandler recovers from a sprained ankle.

Sakin lang di worth pickupin si Magette, labo makakabalik yan eh... Drop mo na yan if you need the space... House can fill in the 3s naman that he leaves behind eh...
