Jan 12 Francis has been suspended indefinitely by the Magic for conduct detrimental to the team, reports the Team's Official Website.

Recommendation: No word yet on the length of the suspension or what brought it on. In the meantime, get him out of your lineups until further info comes to light.


Jan 12 The Orlando Magic have suspended Francis indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Specifics of the penalty have not been released, and the team has not indicated when the guard might return to the lineup. Francis definitely will miss at least Friday's meeting with the Trail Blazers and Sunday's tussle with the Sacramento Kings, as he did not join the Magic for their flight to Portland.

Advice: Francis has seen his production slip as of late, averaging 11.5 points in January after posting nearly 18 points per game over the first two months of the season. Jameer Nelson and DeShawn Stevenson likely will make up the Magic's starting backcourt in Francis' absence.
