Now that I'm into it:
The Lakers were last in defensive efficiency last season; now, they're 7th. Training camp's focus is paying off. I think they're confident the offense is going to be better in time.
Lonzo might not be posting spectacular numbers, but his mere presence is changing the team's culture (at least on offense).
From 26th in APG last season, the Lakers are now 10th. They were 26th in AST% last season, but are now 18th.
Lonzo is 1st in AST% and AST RATIO among rookies; 13th and 6th, respectively, among players who played at least 10 games.
