According dun sa isang thread, promo daw ang Winterpine Php3,800 for sedan. Ang gusto ko sa kanila 1 piece lahat including windshield and backglass.

That would depend on the vehicle. For the W123, this is not possible because the windshield is so curved parang mga '57 Chevy. On relatively flat windshields, this is possible. The company Field Master wears 3M super black all around.

I'm not sure what shade of tint the Fortuner media unit wore. But it was 3m and I could not see through it from the outside. Mukhang one piece din.

May nag we-wet/dry shrinking ba mga tint shops sa'tin to achieve one piece tint? Diko lang din sure depende sa tint ha, kasi dito they claim they can do 1 piece on any car. I have yet to find a tint shop that does that sa Pinas.

I think Winterpine does. They use a Metabo heat gun for instillation.

August 31st, 2006 04:45 PM #238hi all,
i found a shop in 20th ave Cubao (Masba Gen. Merchandise) across Sons Auto Shop. #437-5866
they are charging P1,700 for a 90 corrolla tint (visor, sides, rear), free scraping of existing tint. the brand is called "solar"....
is that a good price? brand? i dont want to spend much on the tint since it is an old car na. i plan to get the regular "dark" tint.
appreciate any inputs...
thanks!!

Alam ko may Solarguard at Sunguard. Pero solar lang? hehehe. Hindi ako sure sir. Among the lower-end brands, Neuvision, Platinum, and Polaroid are pretty ok.
Ang hirap sa lower-end minsan, dark yung tint sa labas, pati sa loob dark din at hindi mo makita daan. Unlike sa 3M films. Yung darkest nila, maganda pa din outside visibility.
As with almost anything, malaking factor din ang installer.
Sa Araneta Ave. mga ganyan din ang price. Difference of Php100-200 lang siguro. Saka free naman po talaga ang scraping ng tint. Wala ding extra charge nung nagpatint ako ng Vitara kina Jeff Tan (Araneta Car Accessories).
