ok, my fellow detailing nerds....i have a dilemma.

i have two european cars. those of you who have owned/detailed them know just how bad the brake dust buildup is and how quickly it gets dirty.

what can you suggest as a wheel cleaner especially for this type of job? i've tried many wheel cleaners and still have not been satisfied with the results. the best/easiest way to clean that i've stumbled on so far is to make sure the wheels always have Klasse SG on them, and use a milder cleaner like P21S.

i've been told to switch to Wheel Wax and Poorboys Spray N Rinse + Wheel Sealant. any comments?

M54: How often do you wash your car or wheels? Brake dust ba yan?

    iniiscoba ko lang yung gulong

Its kinda expensive to put Klasse on your wheels isn't it?

Anyway the I only wax tried on my cars wheels is carnuba wax, but it only worked for a day or two, wheels can get pretty hot.

klasse din gamit ko.. or usually NXT.. lasts for a while din sa auto. ibang klase talaga basta nadaanan ng AIO and SG yung rims.

dehadista: Do you clay your rims? Masubukan nga yung Klasse din pag may oras.

i wash at least every two weeks. usually the brake dust is visible after 2-3 days though, but i simply don't have the time or energy to clean that often. when i owned a toyota and a honda i would never see black brake dust, even if i hadn't cleaned for 3 months.

i guess klasse is an expensive option, pero wala na akong ibang mahanap na na madaling ilagay chaka may staying power. i'll look into NXT....

Change your brake pad with PBR deluxe (not metellic) pads, It produces less dust than OEM pads.

Mga chief, tanong ko lang po.

Nagparetouch po kasi ako ng rear right quarter panel ko and hindi ganun katugma ung kulay sa rest ng vehicle. Is it normal pag kakarepaint lang? Maaayos po ba ito in time or cause ito ng hindi pag buff?

Urethane nga po pala ginamit na paint.

i'll look into those brake pads, guys. thanks. i'm a little reluctant because one car is new, and the other one just had the pads and rotors changed, but i guess that's the price i'd have to pay

bosing, by "retouch" do you mean pininturahan nila yung buong quarter panel mo? if so, it should look like the right color when you get the car. the color doesn't change when the paint cures or if you buff the finish. kung palpak ang color-matching, you'll have to get the painter to redo the job.
