luckily, near match naman yung paint na ginamit ko. hehehe

I was a bit tired na after doing all of this but then I then decided to polish the trunk as well because of the scratches caused by my pet cat.

here's a pic of the trunk after DACP:

    and the usual reflection shot:

looks like I have to wait for some time to give the paint to outgas before sealing it. by then, I'll have to buff it again.

    thanks bro.

learned it sa shop namin. usually I mess around sa mga Delicas na imported, practicing it here and there while hanging around with our old-school painters (matatanda na kasi sila eh) but I never really took the time and effort to develop it further. this time around, may compressor kasi nearby so I decided to use it naman. next time I'm planning to refinish the whole car and put on 2 coats of clear.

Boy I sure would like to learn that skill. Problema lang baka ako ng ermat ko

Pero teka pre, baka di na pantay, may part na may orangepeel tapos yung repainted part walang orange peel.

yung orange peel naman can be wet sanded para mahabol yung finish ng other panels. ingat nga lang talaga sa wet-sanding.

This won't remove scratches you described, only clean the paint.

This might somewhat lessen the scratch, if not totally remove it depending on the severity.

AFAIK, you can mix sealants and carnuba waxes, just apply the sealant first. However, carnuba waxes somewhat lessens the durability of sealants if am not mistaken

    Good luck HTH.
ILD, its a crooked white line, I didn't feel the scratch when I ran my finger through it. Thanks for the info!
