ganyan talaga stubby.. rainy season kasi hehehe
and with that color, its really difficult to get discernible / dramatic results unless you use a specific product combo.
detailing and taking care of your car will grow on you.. also, maintenance of that look will be easy if you regularly follow your detailing regimen.

Stubby: Nice work Stubby. As for the rain spots sa windows, you can increase the vinegar content in your cleaner (sometimes I do 1/3 to 1/2 vinegar kaya lang ang asim ng amoy). Yung binigay kong ratio, pang maintenance ko lang. ehehe. Tapos when you spray it on the windows, leave it on for a few minutes before wiping (or scrubbing) with your cloth. BTW, sometimes di talaga matatanggal yan sa isang pasada. ehehehe.
For the clay, yep, 1/3 will do you just fine.
If you do get a ROP, using a cleaner wax will be much much easier.
Hehehe. Ako ayaw ko muna maglagay ng sig pic. Kainis yung tuloy tuloy na ulan. This weekend, I was able to wash my car and I was 1/4 through glazing with IHG when I got a call from the office. May kailangan gawin so I rushed to the office without finishing my glaze and without applying LSP.
When I got home, my car was dirtier than it was before I washed it. No beading dun sa nalagyan ko ng IHG. Wah.
Will redo everything this weekend. I hope we get sunnier weather next week.

August 10th, 2005 10:12 AM #958ILD, pasaway talaga yang ulan, ayaw tayo tantanan! well, like i said, eto ang buhay detailing. kung pwede lang talaga wag na gamitin ang bagong detailed na kotse para laging sparkling clean eh...kaso bumili pa ng kotse eh noh! hehe. great job on your x-trail! sana marating ko din yung ganda nung work mo on your ride. nanowax ginamit mo right? re pic sig, i plan to get another pic using a higher resolution camera para mas maganda naman. cellphone cam lang kasi ginamit ko eh. pano pala mag lagay ng pic sig?
dehadista, will try some other combos next time. i got a 3M SCLW sachet and i plan to use it sa next waxing two weeks fr now. ganda daw 'to for white eh. pero solve talaga ako don sa moms cleaner wax, so i plan to stick with it. what are examples of booster waxes? i assume this is different fr a qd, right? btw, ok na ba accord mo sir, after that car wash mishap sa dealership?
maverick, ayos yung megs applicator pad! madaling i-a-apply ang wax. sulit pa at only p73 sa simex. sayang nga at bumili pa ako ng microtex suede specifically for the cleaner wax lang, eh pwede naman pala yung megs pad. re cleaner wax as an all-in-one, if i may lang, mga gurus, take a stab at this by suggesting (naks, akala mo expert na eh noh hehe) na you'll still need an LSP and even a glaze (if you plan to do a 3 step) lalo na't dark blue ride mo. the glaze can fill up those swirl marks on your dark colored ride, then top it off with an LSP for protection. carnauba wax, as dehadista adviced, is great for depth. pero kung talagang wala kang time mag detail, you can go for moms carnauba cleaner wax as an all-in-one, kaso may trade-off in terms of effectiveness.
patopig, asim nga amoy nung may halong vinegar! panay nga amoy ko nung windshield after eh....sabi siguro nung kapitbahay may tililing na yata ako kasi pati kotse inaamoy ko na! haha! will try what you've adviced re increase vinegar mixture and let is sit for a few mins. pinunas ko kasi agad. so maybe this will do the trick!
thanks for your compliments, mga gurus! still learning....
