actually the car was newly washovered. about 2 mos old na. kaya nga i was wondering bakit ngayon lang lumabas ito if ever man paint oversprayed. baka sinadya ng kapitbahay? hmmm....anyway, di lahat natanggal nung pag-clay..so we are left with some panels with minor rough surfaces.

anong mas magandang bilhin? yung kit or kahit yung clay na lang?

yup, maganda nga tingnan ang water beading pag bagong wax lang hehehe the last time i waxed the car, umulan right after...baka ganun talaga...hehe

what sealants are available sa market? kasi kung natuloy yung plan ko pagbili ng clay..dapat ang sequence ko na is --> wash, clay seal and top off with carnauba.

since your panels were newly painted, maraming reasons and factors on as to why ngayon lang lumabas or "napansin". probably paint overspray to go along with other surface contaminants. some factors can be attributed to the paint, painting process and other variables during the time your paint was outgassing.. and rainy season pa ngayon.

actually, the kit includes the QD to go along with your clay. but for your purpose, clay lang talaga ang kailangan mo sa kit na 'yun. the QD just serves as the lubricant.

its good to clay your car after washing. before drying, clay ka na. as an lubricant alternative, you can use car shampoo diluted in water. tipid ka pa.

so far, your sequence is right. let your sealant cure first if you plan on topping it with carnauba. since bagong washover pa, you can opt to omit the polish muna... or depende kung gaano ka-OC ka.

some sealants that are available over the counter are the soft99 Series. Eagle one has a sealant too. even Megs (#20)... Big Bert's has the Klasse Twins (which I think is awesome BTW).. you can also look for Autoglym SRP and EGP

note that sealants produce a different look if compared to waxes.

mga how much ang sealants? kahit yung soft99 or EO lang...hehe di yata kaya ng budget ang klasse or even megs...

they're a wee bit more expensive than your average wax.. hmm.. ballpark figures siguro mga P600-1000++ going up for Soft99 Fusso and other OTC stuff... some naglalaro na sa thousands..

diba sealant din ang soft99 yellow formulated with special polymer? eto kasi nilagay ko after washing my ride. tapos i topped it with soft99 with carnuba.

If you want protection for a longer time go for the sealants. If you wax often then you can do away with it.

BTW, if you get the chance to purchase the Klasse Twins, go for it. But its pricey.

had my daily driver waxed with S100 sa BB last saturday.. (sinabay ko na kasi sa Glass etching hehe) iba talaga ang look ng S100...

very liquid and deep ang surface! beats other carnauba-based products.. and so far, the nearest products similar at this level based on my experience are #16 and Authentic Gold...

yun nga lang, durability wise, have to observe this kasi black yung vehicle eh.. hehehe

i cant find any soft99 clays around...went to TV park square 1 nung sunday..wala siya and sa landmark din pala wala rin...saw a kit ng mother's (clay,detailer) kaso wala na yung clay sa loob! hehe you guys know where can i source out the soft99 clay?
