you can definitely use DACP / polishing pad with a ROP. these are the same people who instructed me to use speed glaze only on brand-new cars.
anyway, make sure to work the diminishing abrasives in. you have to do several passes with the ROP. Don't buff till the product becomes a powder. dry buffing na 'yun.. You should always stop before this while there's still a liquid film on the surface. Experience with hands-on practice will help you to gauge when to stop buffing.
After machine cleaning and polishing with the DACP you need to re-polish with a less aggressive polish and a softer pad. Then apply your wax.
