Zechs: I applied the cleaner wax in a circular motion. It was easy to wax on and wax off. The results were ok (not great) but it really helped removing the dried up scratchX. My car is petrol red.

ILD and Dehadista: I've been reading good things about the caliduster and water blade. I'll look to get a set of my own! Too bad I also heard its very hard to find.

Btw, its wierd since the scratchX instructions said to let it dry before wiping off.. Will wipe off quickly in future uses. I think this also applies to glazes and polishers right? Wipe off quickly or it becomes very hard to remove...

Also, would using the Show Car Liquid wax after the IHS not so good? Is it because my paint is relatively new?

    Thanks again guys!

    Work the product in...
    2) ScratchX is not a wipe-on, wipe-off product, (WOWO), it's more of a wipe on, work in product, (WOWI). You need to apply with a clean foam applicator pad and work the product in with a little passion.

The trick is to work the product in until it just begins to disappear and to apply more than one application. You see, the ScratchX, like all Meguiar's Paint Cleaners, contain a diminishing abrasive, as you work ScratchX in, the microscopic diminishing abrasives gently abrade the surface removing small particles of paint. But as you work it in, these diminishing abrasives breakdown. Thus, they quit abrading the finish and actually polish the finish to a clear, high gloss. This diminishing action turned polishing action is a benefit to you because it enable you to work out defects without leaving scratches behind.

Because the diminishing abrasive breakdown, you need to re-apply and repeat the process until the defects are removed.
ideal for hand.. not suggested for Machine use BTW.

IMO (my taste), Zaino and dark red doesn't really belong, it subdues the hue too much for my taste, but if you can buy Zaino Z2 Pro, then it'll be good.

The prob with Z is that if you dont use the Z shampoo and QD, it's a lot harder to maintain that shine, that's why Klasse is preferred since it's much easier to maintain using regular shampoo.

Your currrent maintenance is fine, just finish the product, I don't like Zymol's cleaner wax that much.

looks like klasse wins and that's what i'm thinking also after reading a few reviews on it. thanks for the quick reply. it really helps since i don't know which of the two perfectly fits blaze red.

how much ba if i get klasse from your shop? kung wala na magpaorder talaga ako sa US.

nabili ko actually yang zymol cleaner wax 3 years ago and halted using it after getting megs yellow wax na pinaghati-hatian namin magkakaopisina. safe pa kaya itong cleaner wax 3 years old na? it still looks ok pero parang may buo buo na.
