“PAL’s new management discovered an allocation for Sebastian and learned that he had been asking for millions of pesos over the past decade, supposedly as payment for the excise tax needed to release the jet fuel from BOC,” he said.

Sebastian denied any wrongdoing and insisted that the money he collected was a “gift” from Tan.

“It was a gift from Kapitan (Lucio Tan) for being his assistant for 40 years. Why would I extort from PAL when I could easily ask for money from Kapitan?” Sebastian told Bilyonaryo.

Espinosa said inquest proceedings against Sebastian and Tan would “hopefully” start on Friday (March 17).

    1st wife family affair

Has it been a year already?

Taipan Lucio Tan’s LT Group Inc.’s annual meeting is coming up on May 3 and, unless plans miscarry, the event will likely see the realization of a family’s carefully planned succession moves.

We’re referring to Tan’s millennial grandson, Lucio Tan III, taking the reins of the empire as LT Group’s president after being named chief operating officer and vice chair a year ago.

The younger Tan will replace his uncle, Michael Tan, the company’s longtime president who helped grow LT Group into a P110-billion conglomerate.

BOC and PNP are still the most corrupt institutions. Legacy ni digong.
