Mirage - Issues/Problems?

Not just Mitsubishi, sir, even Toyota. Brake squeak at the start of the day, though not all the time. Had it checked and cleaned at the dealer during regular PMS, but still it persists. I just learned to ignore it.

Pag sa casa ako nagpapa-brake cleaning may napapansin akong parang dark brown na coating sa rotors. Habang nandun ang coating, almost walang squeak kahit pa overnight at maulan. Ewan ko lang kung lahat ng casa may ganun pero Citimotors Las Piñas yun ang experience ko.

Up for this thread. Are the new Mirage rear springs uprated already? Or are they still bottoming out when loaded?

Issues ko lang sa Mirage G4 namin is;

Malambot Spring (replaced by KYB Coil Spring) No Sayad na.
Mahina aircon
Bitin sa arangkada lalo na kapag mag oovertake ka lalo na kung CVT (dahil 1.2 lang siya)
Maingay din preno kahit nakailang palit na ko ng brakepads.
walang cup holder sa may air vent unlike sa Vios :D

Ano daw ang battery type ng key fob ng mirage? Kelangan na daw ata palitan. Medyo walang alam iyong may ari sa kotse eh kaya tulungan ko na lang.

Nababasa mo ba yung brakes when cleaning or napipilansikan somewhow?

Don't own a Mirage, but that happens to us pag overzealous kami mag hose cleaning out yung front wheel wells & fenders.
As you use your brakes during the day nalilinis siya (self cleaning) and the sound will fade/disappear.

my generic thoughts,

there may be more than one type, depending on the model.
if the fob is factory, the battery type might be indicated in the howner's manual.
if not factory, then it can be anything, from A27 to A28 to LR44 to AAA to the wide-and-flat SR etc...
if in doubt, "open it and see".
some of these fobs come in pairs, to the owner. baka nakatago lang yung isang spare. gamitin na before the battery dies of old age.

Kung yan yung keyless entry at start, it's CR2032. It's the typical battery na pang BIOS ng desktop PC.

Walang screw pag ganyan. Need to pry open the remote with a flat head screwdriver or yung mga plastic tools na pambukas ng cellphone.

Sorry to bump an old thread. Can't post a new thread kasi.

I got a G4 GLS 2018 and I noticed na ang firm ng steering nya (Vios/Wigo-like, parang naka-hydraulic power steering ka pa rin) vs. dun sa G4 GLX 2019 ng friend ko. Although may noise yung G4 ng friend ko (probably fried motor? like the EPS issues w/ Kia?), ang light ng steering nya. I was expecting it to be feather light katulad ng sa friend ko, or even against other EPS-equipped cars like Kia Rio. I understand how EPS adjusts firmness depending on your speed etc. 'Di ko lang alam if placebo effect lang 'to (if there's a difference ba sa steering GLX vs GLS). I haven't driven other cars after so I can't really compare and tell na it's just in my head.

Any feedback or input is greatly appreciated. Thanks tsikoteers.

Feather light din ang steering ng 2018 Mirage HB GLX ng relative. Although 165mm ang nipis ng gulong niya at naka 35psi factory spec.

Baka kailangan nga pa check iyan, or baka makapal ang gulong or under inflated?
